  1. After climbing countless flights of stairs, it must be.
  2. No, as long as your router isn't absolute shit (you can port forward properly) and you know how to port forward (or God forbid, UPnP is on). If you're OK with Zandronum (which is more optimized for netplay) try The Sentinel's Playground at https://allfearthesentinel.com/.
  3. Someone on the ZDF actually suggested new sprites, however the thread has been dead for years. https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=72957
  4. Because this mod doesn't actually use the replaces keyword. Nash (and therefore me) used Event Handlers to do the job. Using the give command bypasses these handlers, but it *should* be fixed when you switch weapons.
  5. If you wanted to, you could even use the original Linux Doom source code. Anything GPL licensed is fine. MIT and BSD licenses will work, but the GNU GPL is better, because yes.
  6. Boom based ports have a bug where if you try to summon TNT, an unused Doom item with object with Sprite TNT Frame 1 Rotation 0, the game will not render it and the object will immediately cease to exist.
  7. Does your friend have Choco allowed in their firewall on all types of networks?
  8. There's a way to play Brutal Doom in M$-DOS, just change the file extension to .wad! If you press "Save Game" exactly 2,763 times, the game will crash. The counter is reset on every launch of the game.
  9. And how was I supposed to tell? This is not a 4 year old's TeamSpeak, I can't tell your tone from text.
  10. Stop being misleading. The last time that was on was in the Stone Age, and it's opt-in. Maybe stop being disingenuous. Things like DirectDraw, Softpoly, and other outdated crap like the OpenGL exclusive fullscreen hack were removed too. OpenGLES was also added. Define extremely old. 7 years? 20 years? 3 years? I wrote this from a 6 year old laptop (Born On date says 2017). It somehow emulates up to the GameCube at 60 fps, barely does Wii, plays Minecraft reasonably well, plays Xonotic after turning down the settings pretty well, and most importantly, runs GZDoom well. Don't know how that's supposed to work, heh. GZDoom doesn't even run on anything before Windows Se7en.
  11. Reseat your RAM. That's probably the problem. Either that or a failing disk. Something's very wrong.
  12. That's just a testament to how simple the boss is. It's more frustrating, than challenging.
