  1. Working on a Black Knight 2000 MIDI for all to use! Post about it coming later today or tomorrow, maybe friday, depends on work :p

  2. Hi! I'm happy to announce I'm dropping a track next Sunday (August 6th, 2023) on ALL major streaming platforms AND Bandcamp! I've recruited Prick, the bassist for Haymaker, to do backing vocals and a bass track for me, which came out incredibly well! I'm not 100% sure how to share audio on here aside from through an uploaded zip folder, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please do let me know and I'll update the post accordingly! 3. Unpacking boxes currently, also working on a new midi!!!

  4. I'm guessing this would be a .mid file, yes? if it IS a .mid file, it's likely that your system's soundfonts just sound (slightly) different. I know you were able to change this on Win9x, as well as on modern systems. Here's a link to a StackExchange post about changing your midi wavetable (the set of instruments) on Windows 10. I hope that helps a bit!
  5. Been a bit AFK lately, preparing to move into my new place! Excited and a bit impatient to start composing again! New place is on the 9th floor, so hopefully I won't have too much trouble moving my shit! Hope to update you guys again soon!!

  6. Hi, I'm K.C. Laz, a 24yo composer/musician! Outside of that I'm not too interesting, hobbies include gaming, hanging out with friends, doodling, a teeny bit of animating. I love collecting (and working with) vintage audio equipment and video game consoles though! It's also pretty much a dream to have my music used in a lot of wads! I do have a fair bit of experience in composing, a little over a decade now, but I haven't worked with the specific sequencer I'm using now, Sekaiju. I like the experience of learning something completely new so far! Anyway, that's my wall of text, thank you all so much for having me, and I hope to meet a lot of fine folk! Cheers, K.C.
  7. If you happen to know of anyone who'll need some custom midis, please do let me know :D
  8. Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I would love to have my work featured in a wad!
  9. Hi profile visitors! I love you ♡

Only just realized this is a function too, I'm pretty new to forums in general!

  10. I bring you yet another work in progress of a midi I'm currently working on! This one'll be called either When Hell Is Full or When Hell Is Full, The Dead Will Walk The Earth, though I'd imagine the second title might be a bit too long. The title is a direct quote from George Romero's Dawn of the Dead, and I think it would fit a kind of apocalyptic hectic map! Let me know what you think, I always love hearing feedback and ways to improve my midi compositions! And of course, as always; if you'd like to use the midi, please do let me know (so I could maybe customize it to your liking). Cheers, K.C. Laz WhenHellisFullWIP.zip
  11. Settled on a name. The Hard Corps is now the title!
  12. Hi! I made a post yesterday asking for some feedback on a midi I was working on, which I've now finished! Feedback is more than appreciated as always, I can only get better! Posting an mp3 with fadeout after the loop point, just to show how it would loop in a map! I hope you all enjoy the track, and if you'd like to use it, or would like me to compose for you, please do let me know! I don't have a title for it yet, so for now it's just called MAP01. Cheers, K.C. Laz MAP01.zip
  13. I really appreciate the feedback ♡ Just fixed the pitching issue, and gonna get to work on naturalizing the flow into double time! I could reply with an updated version later on if there's interest!
