  1. My playthrough. loved the aesthetics. You really managed to make a unique looking map using stock textures. Quite difficult and tricky gameplay, but fun. I couldn't remember after getting all the keys where the exit was, but hey, at least I got 100% kills while searching for it. Definitely worth the bump, and deserves more attention.
  2. My playthrough for map01. There are videos for the other maps in the wad as well on my channel. I'm really not very good at slaughter, but hey, I'm trying to learn and get better on those :D I played this on Gzdoom 4.10.0 with mbf-compatibility, but I still fell through the railings. I see now reading the thread that it shouldn't happen, so I unintentionally cheesed some fights. Oh well, at least I didn't get softlocked. I had fun playing this, even if it's a tad above my skill level. Ammo and health balance seemed great. I like that there's enough health to allow some stupid mistakes as well, and I did plenty of those.
  3. My playthrough. I'm not too good at slaughter but decided to try this one out as I really liked the screenshots. Thankfully it's on the easy side and I agree with others that it's not really a slaughter map in the typical sense. I also had a bit of trouble finding the weapons. It's not that big of a problem though since you can take your time running around the map. I'd recommend adding a switch for the door at the end of the hallway inside the building, as it's not that obvious that it can be opened. After all, none of the other walls with a similar texture in the map can be opened.
  4. My playthrough. A pretty nice first map and fun combat. I realized that I had missed the rocket launcher at some point, but decided not to go back looking for it as the level seemed very much beatable even without it.
  5. Here's my playthrough. One death thanks to an unfortunate rocket into face. This is a pretty great map, really wouldn't have guessed it's a first map. I don't have any suggestions to improve the map really. The berserk was fine and even almost needed as I did end up using it quite a bit, although many times because there were many situations it felt natural thing to do (I believe this really would be a fun map to tyson as already mentioned). I also did guess there would be a telefrag to the cyber.
  6. Here's my playthrough. I did survive the final fight on first try but a couple health pickups wouldn't hurt. Visuals-wise the map feels really unfinished though I have to say. Really blocky architecture and very little detail on most of the map. There isn't any interconnectivity between any of the areas either, which makes the map really linear. It's not a bad first map, but definitely could use some more work put into it. Oh, and the see through gate textures at the start don't work as intended on software renderer.
  7. That's very interesting story! Here's my playthrough. I thought the Spider Mastermind was misplaced as it offers no challenge, at least if you're not speedrunning. Also the rather long waits at the end, first for the pillar coming down and after that for the lift felt unnecessary. At least there should be monsters teleporting in imo. Overall, a really good and interesting first map, and I really hope to see more from you!
  8. Here's my first time playthrough with saves. The stairs fight is indeed the hardest in the map. At 15:35 into the video there's a missing lower texture that I noticed. A good map, I enjoyed it.
  9. Here's my first time playthrough (with saves). A fine map. The first archvile encounter was kinda tricky. I did figure out how you're supposed to handle it eventually but managed to survive it thanks to luck with pain states before doing it as intended. Gotta applaud myself for surviving the end fight on first try.
