  1. Congrats on the release! Glad to see @knifeworld stuck with Edwin van Veldhoven's "Green Orange" for MAP31/E1's secret map's music, although the one packaged with the WAD isn't the looping modified version I provided. :P
  2. Hey, how have you been? I wanted to tell you that recently heard some of Freedoom's newer music from the soulsphere version build, and I am so impressed. I am also pretty hyped to play 0.13 this summer, and I will probably do a playthrough on my channel. It is honestly so cool to see how far this game has come. It is pure and determined passion

      Funny thing, it would be Discord but I'm locked out of my account and unable to recover.
      Don't think I need or want to create yet another account either, considering this has happened twice before and I have almost no use for it now. (Discord's support sucks!!!)

      Dang, that sucks! Yeah I though it is was odd when they removed the tags. I barely use it but still

  3. That being a Doom 64 map (specifically MAP29: Omega Outpost, near the end) annoys me as the graphic is using Doom II's sprites as a base.
  4. "Riders of Hell" by Picklehammer: restoring that was rejected by someone who had write access at the time. :'( It was DM05 for a bit mid-development, but it received an awful instrument change which I tried to revert but instantly got rejected. I ended up restoring "Music for Freedoom 9" by Vandalorian (0.10 MAP18) there instead, but it just doesn't have the same feeling.
  5. Had to change the MIDI to prevent "Running from Evil" from rotting my brain further. Here's a very bad run of this map on Nightmare, with 100% secrets. I got thrown off at secrets 1 and 2 because of the accidental double secret lines, I kept trying to trigger the already triggered line. Very short and simple, but sweet.
  6. Ultimate Doom - E3M8: Dis Underwhelming bossfight; trivial on continuous runs, tedious on pistol starts. Doom II - MAP13: Downtown Pretty sure everyone knows why by now. TNT - MAP22: Habitat I can't believe this map's author also made MAP01 of Icarus: an actually good map. Plutonia - MAP10: Onslaught I hardwired my muscle memory to perform the yellow key grab just to avoid most of this map.

  8. It's not too bad, compared to some of Doom II's tracks. (looking at you, Countdown to Death) My personal favourites from Doom II are "Read Me While Listening to This" and "Getting Too Tense". :P

  10. Yeah, that was just a quick thought without any reasoning, not actually focusing on the map length. Though the map uses green and orange as its colour scheme it seems, so maybe the title could also reference the map in a way, heh.
  11. To my knowledge, this MIDI hasn't been used in a PWAD ever. Consider it an obscure gem, I guess? :)

  13. Looks absolutely amazing! Would love to play through it once it's finished. I have two suggestions for MIDIs, I guess..? All I could think of right now. :P "Envelope" by Tom Mustaine, from Hell To Pay "Green Orange" by Edwin van Veldhoven (modified to loop instead of fading out: grnornge.zip)
  14. HOMs in the first room after the map starts and near the exit. Also, not required but I would recommend it: please include literally any MIDI that isn't "Running from Evil" for the billionth time - it gets tiring hearing it over and over again - I think "Infinite" by Tom Mustaine from TNT would be a good fit. :P
