  1. easily in my top 5 snes midis. hell of a song.
  2. Map Name: Paint Theft is a Serious Crime Author: senpaigru MIDI: Another Winter from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game Coop/Difficulties: Yes but I can nerf non UV if it's too mean (it's pretty laid back) Comments: Small map should take about 6ish minutes to complete. painttheftv1
  3. this looks insane, stoked to run it this evening :)
  4. I'm near the end of my first playthrough and this is probably one of my favorite wads I've ever played. After this playthrough (playing continuous, uv on dsda) I'm going to do another another with pistol starts. So far I've only noticed a couple slime trails on one of the bonus levels and I believe a minor slime trail on another. I'll keep taking screenshots and get it all together by the end of my second playthrough. You did a remarkable job on this! Also, I'm thankful this is mbf21 because it runs well in dsda on my toaster laptop <3
  5. As mentioned by others, it's kind of whatever you want to make and that's the beauty of it. As a fellow newer mapper I tend to also play a variety of wads to get a good idea of the different types of gameplay that can be offered or to get inspiration. If I play a wad I find inspiration in, be it the gameplay or visuals or both I'll make a mental note of how certain fights are structured, what types of guns were given when, etc. One of the more helpful things that helped get me past some of the initial hurdles of learning the ropes was joining a few discord servers and joining in on some community projects and speed mapping sessions. Just keep at it, ask questions when you're confused. Most importantly, don't compare yourself to others and just have fun making stuff.
  6. That was very fun and pretty to look at. The map felt very cozy and the midi choice aids a bit as well. Only noticed one small issue, played on dsda. really great map, looking forward to playing more!
  7. updated martian meltdown to version 4, just fixed a couple misaligns in the first room and tagged the rev pillars in the bfg to drop when the bfg lowers. should be the final update unless something breaks :p (updated original post as well)
  8. Played through the first episode of the newest beta with dsda doom- 100% kills and secrets, only one issue to report so far. on map 5 the crusher is a bit wonky. gonna play episode 2 and i'll update this post if i see any more issues. really great maps so far! on episode 2 found hom and potential softlock on map 17, pillars of hell.
  9. this was a real treat to play and i love the colors. good work!
  10. these are all bangers so far, i see myself using a bunch of these. good stuff homie
