  1. Cute map, this type of run n' gun is exactly my cup of tea, very fun hot start and hordes of zombiemen that you can mow down in a satisfying manner with the chaingun while charging forwards to not run out of ammo. I liked the surprise on the secret, grouped enemies that you can blast with the RL is always fun. I enjoyed it so I'm glad you didn't scrap the idea. : ) Looking forward to what you do next! 2. Knew I had to try it out after seeing that last screenshot which is one of the coolest Doom screenshots I've ever seen. Great map, love the texturing, architecture and lighting. Died a lot but managed to always have enough ammo to deal with the enemies, got all kills but missed the secret. I thought the archviles being able to fall to be fun, had some "oh shit" moments thanks to that, also I've always been a fan of going into rooms that have all of the monsters facing the other way where they can't see you so you can decide where to start the fight from. This is a seriously impressive effort for a first release and being that young, you have a bright mapping future ahead of you so I hope you continue to pursue this hobby.
  3. Just finished it, played on HNTR and had a blast. Fantastic colors and detailing, all of the maps are truly beautiful. Here's hoping to see more from you guys in the future, amazing job.
  4. Sorry for bumping again, didn't think I'd do better after that run. Done for real with the map now. MAP23 UV-Max in 1:53.91 d2twid23_15391.zip
  5. Good stuff, love the lighting and light sources on this and you can't go wrong with night sky and techbases, I've been craving for maps like this ever since I played through Abscission. Here's my blind playthrough. slugger_fda.zip
  6. Cute map, the skybox and music sets a very cozy vibe and the city totally channels that early 00s LAN party nostalgia. The addition of enemies and keys for singleplayer is appreciated since it's super fun to speedrun. city_uvmax_21423.zip

  11. Congrats on the release! you did an amazing job, top tier atmosphere and stunning visuals, definitely something every Doom fan should check out.
  12. That was freaking awesome, the map looks beautiful its got great attention to detail from the shadows to light sources to basically everything, the layout is very cool with lots of optional paths/fights and lots of well hidden secrets that were a lot of fun to hunt, I'm a huge fan of the secret outdoors area. I don't think I can recall playing any other map where you only get hitscan weapons, but I appreciate playing something different and the run n' gun was fun, the encounters felt fair and balanced. Also the music choice made my day, jazzy tunes and Doom 2 bases can never go wrong. Here's my attempt at uv-max where I failed cus I somehow missed 1 enemy lol, but anyways this was absolute top-tier stuff and an instant favorite for me, thanks for sharing! decomissionuvmax-00003.zip
  13. Well that was honestly awesome, I really like the intertwined layout and the compact combat, the detailing and texturing is beautiful and that custom palette is very cool, love that doomcute laboratory desk and all of the moving machinery in the walls. I have a soft spot for maps that can be this engaging with a low enemy count, so this is a 10/10 in my book. Here's my uvmax demo played through DSDA vv-uvmax-00002.zip
  14. Just finished it, that was super cool, amazingly creepy atmosphere and detailing. I think I only got noticeable frame drops in the red key area but other than that it was a very enjoyable experience, the ending setpiece was impressive and my favorite part was the hospital.
