I played several megawads made by just one person, not a community, and I'm becoming more and more convinced that I shouldn't do this. Since the author’s handwriting is preserved throughout the entire WAD, and you simply get tired of it.

That's super cool dude! A really great job has been done. I liked the gameplay, especially the traps and teleporting monsters, while the elevator with the key descends and all that, it doesn’t let you get bored. The combat is really satisfying and very well balanced. Except that a third of the monsters are mostly locked in cells that you can simply ignore and not waste ammo on. I agree with Mina's (@NenapoMinayuChtchiyasya) comments. Yeah, there is a lot of monotony, it’s like you’re watching a super cool lecture, but the lecturer says it in such a monotonous ASMR voice that you simply can’t help but fall asleep. Either way, I don't think it's that big of a problem. Most likely, it seems to me, although it does not seem to me, but in fact, when creating maps, two fundamental rules were not taken into account - “excessive symmetry” and “repetition of textures”. That's probably why I dropped the game too. Anyway, my respect. P.S.: I'm probably already playing the fifth such grandiose WAD made by one person, and I'm becoming more and more convinced that I shouldn't do this. Thanks for the indicated error. Fixed! I thought the same thing about it. However, with silent option teleportation occurs too quickly, which sometimes seems unexpected. I was thinking about how to add custom teleportation effect with a unique sound effects and smooth transition through a black screen for example. However, I am not yet smart enough to make it somehow compatible not only with GZDOOM. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion!

Only a couple of weeks have passed, and I started to feel melancholy again, I can’t play any games because all games are boring for me, so I just decided to make another map to brighten up these days. P.S.: I don't play other WADs from other mappers because the only thing I like to do is create, kind of like going back in time playing Minecraft. Background: I spent a fair amount of time creating maps that would be of interest to more than just me. As in high school and college, due to the lack of friends and socializing, I actively drew in every spare moment and thus improved my skills. The difference is that the drawings were seen only by me, but here I can share my creativity with you, even if my creativity is not perfect. But, sooner or later, everything comes to an end. Being old enough, in my 30s, I reviewed all the volumes of my drawings and burned them the same day as if I were Gogol with vol II of the "Dead Souls". I got a strong sense of sentimentalism when I revisited all my childhood, teenage and adolescent drawings and I realized that they evoke feelings only for me, they are valuable only for me. Then what's the point of keeping them, and for what history, if it can just be thrown in the trash by any passerby, I'd rather do it myself, and with honors. Point: This is probably my last map on the forum. Even though I've only been on the forum for a short while, I've been making maps for the second if not third year. However, I no longer feel passionate about making maps. That's why this map is called "Waste", in short as all the time I spent on map making, as my maps that will also end up in the bucket. It's certainly not a magnum opus, but let it be. It's not a "run and gun" map, it's a map where you need strategy and brain. For everything else there are plenty of other interesting maps than this one. If you don't like this genre (poDOOMaty), you don't have to play the whole map or at all. Huge respect to @Helm @Napeyear and @rita remton for your excellent and informative reviews, I really appreciate it! Also many thanks to @Zesiir @MisterLivers @LadyMistDragon and @Delisk for never standing aside and being active in the community! Q&A: I think here I certainly overdid it and got a bit of a door problem. This was the original intention, but I subsequently revised the design as I felt it was a bit off Totally agree with you. The second AV wasn't originally intended, then I thought about putting a cyberdemon in there, but I thought that was even sillier. Not at all, it's just for those who haven't figured out how to get a megasphere, for example, as shown in Delisk's walkthrough. I don't see the point of creating a map that objectively leads you just by the hand. Doom isn't just gun and run in some cases (poDOOMay).

Thanks for the comment and walkthrough! Judging by your playthrough, the activation of a series of crooked pathways worked as intended. In this place you should not run, so as not to fall off the edge and find the right path and then everything is possible, and finally you need to take a leap of faith. This is more of a puzzle than just a walkthrough.

Dumguy had to make an emergency landing. His fuel ran out, and he dozed off so much that when he woke up there were monsters on his ship. @LadyMistDragon A very good walkthrough, although the last third was challenging. I thought the health flasks could have been a very good clue. @Zesiir Thank you for your feedback. I was starting to feel a bit tired of only making maps that were centered around slaughter and survival. That's why I decided to switch to making maps with a focus on secret-seeking gameplay.
