I suppose it makes sense that Doomworld has such good taste in video games, huh? Anyway, I've probably put the most hours into Skyrim or Minecraft. I've also sunk a bunch of time into Fallout: New Vegas, Diablo III, Dark Souls 1-3... currently sinking a lot of time into Elden Ring. Also, I wouldn't want to know how much time I've put into Stellaris or Factorio.

Okay, so in the WADs forum, there's two subforums. There's WAD Discussion, which is this one, and there's Mods & Resources. You'll want to look in there. Also, in general, you'll probably benefit from being more specific about what you're looking for. People here will help all the same, but if you know exactly what you want, they might just have a URL for you.

Personally, I'm hoping that Year Zero/The Dark Ages refer to the state of Earth following the invasion by demons. Perhaps some sort of coup would happen and the player would wake up not very long after the ending of TAG2, compared to the beginning of 2016.

Like, it draws additional linedefs connected to the one you're drawing, or it creates a new sector/subsector? What exactly happens? What do you mean by "room"?

I've never gotten that into Metallica, but it's always interesting to listen to people debate whether a selection of music is "good" or "bad". The descriptions of the snare drum are hilarious, but I'm glad that some people like the album regardless.

It's possible that OP didn't know it was an option. I didn't know until recently how easily-available the Doom alphas are.
