  1. could a merciful moderator please finally put this thread where it belongs?
  2. The future will be bright and shining for AAA titles. With next incarnation of ChatGPT you'll only have to tell the AI your PHANTASTIC, REVOLUTIONARY game idea and the machine will build the game not in three years, but in three minutes.
  3. In my understanding it is very difficult to produce quality maps. Playing with legos _is_easy, but creating something extraordinary is not. BTW: instead of having a link for watching nice YT-vids; couldn't we have a link to your wad to to be able to form our own opinion? :-)
  4. To start with the OST is an interesting approach. Did you already contact Bobby for his humble assistance? Just by the way and purely coincidential: Could we have a listen, please?
  5. Chapeau! That one killed me completely! I was going to type something very rude (...and get yet another mod's warning...), but the Nigerian Prince stopped me with rhetorical elegance and superiority. I guess I still need to polish my English.
  6. "Graphics Card integrated" does not sound so convincing. Does anybody have experience with Intel HD Graphics 4000?. In addition, I don't have the slightest clue about MS-Windows screen recording performance requirements, sorry.
  7. You'd save a lot of money and you'd get more speed out of your hardware by switching to a lightweighted Linux Distro. Most of the time I'm on an 10year old i5/8GB Ram under xfce and it is really fast enough for anything Doom (ok, not the newfangled brethren). If you get something a bit more powerful, let's say an i7 with 16GB, your recording wishes could easily be fulfilled. But if you really need W11, there is no other solution than buying an overpriced powerhouse PC. But make sure to save some money for the electricity bill :-).
  8. Penguin says: "This joke is not funny!" (and imho he's right)
  9. It is not a good idea to store "too many pictures / videos" on the internal HDD. Get a bunch of external drives and make backups. You also could replace the internal HDD with an SDD, blow the dust out of the fans and make a fresh install. Try Linux, it's faster on older machines. No offense intended, but are you sure, that you've got the techie skills to run a PC-game oriented channel?
  10. In this case you should use the 0.99 shareware .exe under DOS 6.2
Really cool idea to use advanced LMP recording to add comments. If this would have become more popular, we could avoid YT :-)
  11. Very colourful writing. But don't haste. it's very exciting to publish something and I realise that you can't wait for it, but this one needs some reworking. Too many errors and occasionally too many filler words that don't do the text any good. But anyway, I like it. it has flair, charm and is written with the right amount of wits. Keep up the good work!
  12. I know, it's an unwelcome opinion here, but I don't like YT channels. Just too often, YT is waste of time, hard disc space and energy. There must be hundreds of powerplants just for powering up all those storage servers. This community urgently needs a comfortable LMP-player plugin for browsers. Would save energy and help keeping the blue marble cool. ;-) 23 years ago, John Romero did it right.
  13. This is a story about a man, who asked for a pill. He have been offered a red pill. Instead, he took a black pill, but actually he would have liked a blue one.
  14. He was fooling around on the gras with Daisy and he got green stains all over his clothes. Or maybe, it's rabbit shit.
