The Wayfarer - a 9-map Heretic episode

The Wayfarer's Tome: A gameplay mod and significant content expansion for Heretic that future mappers can use as a base for making their levels. My goal is to do for Heretic what Doom 2 did for Doom. The new content will be created in stages in conjunction with mapping projects; The Wayfarer is stage 1. The completed content pack will include new monsters, artifacts, keys, and decorations in addition to some gameplay changes that are intended to bring out Heretic's full potential. These gameplay changes are mostly minor, but if you want to get in on the discussion and give feedback, download the mod and try them out for yourself with your favorite Heretic maps!
