  1. The Courtyard and The Citadel seem pretty coherent. The majority of the Courtyard is in a courtyard. And the big building in the Citadel is essentially you guessed it, a citadel.

  3. Honestly, it depends on the level! Some levels are like DOOM and should be easily done without saving, but others like Hell Revelations/Sunder I'd expect to save multiple times!

  7. I'm looking for big single or episode map wads with a big monster count and an IoS at the end. Examples include: Stairway to Hell, and Infernal Fortress 2, Quazar, and Tangerine Nightmare, grmood.wad
  8. This thread reminds me of Memorial for Doom II by eternal which was all the maps combined into one gigantic level. They interconnected so there's new content.
  9. I mainly use GZDoom. Didn't play yet but this looks very promising and wouldn't be surprised if it's an Honorable Mention or Cacoward Winner.

  11. That pretty sums up Slaughtermaps in this community. Some people love em and others hate em. Sunder, Okuplok are some of the more well known WADs in that genre.
  12. Got another wad to look for: I think it's 12 or so maps. GZDoom. The first map starts in a marble area with cacodemon on the wall texture. Map 11 is really hellish - lava like. Map 12 or so is the boss and it is a baron like creature. I'm pretty sure this mapset has scripting. The music of map11 is whispering like. I also know this was released before 2010.
  13. hey everyone, looking for a couple maps i played 25+ years ago. I believe they may be from Maximum Doom but am unsure. One is a small tech level at the very end is a hellish put that has the words "HELL" in it. There are imps in this pit. The player teleports over this pit to the exit. The second map ends with two teleporters each taking you to a small rectangular exit room. The "good" teleporter takes you to a wooden room with a switch, and the "bad" teleporter takes you to a room full of poison in which you exit <19%. Any ideas as to these maps?
