A true masterpiece!

Hmm, is it possible that the subtitle "Dark Ages" is some kind deceptive and it is actually a reference to 1993 and the first Doom instead of the Middle Ages?

Sorry that you have to wait so long for next update, but I'm currently focusing on working on 6 level map set. I really needed a break from creating textures, and I've had a lot of mapping inspiration lately and I've been trying to take advantage of it. The PBR pack is next in line. BTW - if anyone is interested in betatesting my maps (Doom2/GZDoom), please let me know.

I think I'm about 75% done. I'm currently finishing last of skin textures. In the meantime I'm working on new maps, which makes the work on textures take so long. Additionally, in order for playing with PBR textures make sense, all lighting on all maps should be redesigned. As work on textures for subsequent levels progresses, I am creating a version with dynamic lighting, but I suspect that for legal reasons I will not be able to share it as a wad file. I'm thinking about a converter that would update original IWAD to my version with dynamic lights.

Am I the only one who thinks that the music from E1M5 called "Suspense" is heavily inspired by the song "Friends" from Totall Recall OST? I recently rewatched this movie during the Christmas break and I was struck by the similarity. According to the wiki, the inspiration for E1M5 song should be Siouxsie and the Banshees "Placebo Effect", but I clearly hear more similarities in the Total Recall OST. Check out from stamp 0:51:37:

This is an interesting interpretation. I actually see what you're saying. However, I think that what you see as "eyes" is actually the result of a large reduction in resolution compared to the source image, i.e. the sketch of the Icon of Sin. Take a look at the images below. You can see that what you think is an eyeball in low resolution is actually an eyelid. However, while analyzing the original IOS sketch and the texture, I came to the conclusion that I needed to slightly correct the lower eyelid. So thanks!
