Another one of those "good gameplay, boring texturing" old maps. I wish he allowed it to be edited. I'll use it in a compilation at some point.

    Fuzzy 20

A small map that would be good for duels. More than 2 people would be quite crowded.

    BURZUM1.WAD

They aren't very good, and the scream sound is annoying as hell.
Even after reading the rules, Im still confused about deathtag. How do you keep score, and why don't people still play deathtag?

    For Wils

The architecture is quite nice in this one.

    Super Deathmatch

Awesome map, used in Dwango12 (i think)

    ABRAXAS.wad

Hmm... It's not so great. Uses a bad version of Hangar 18, and for some reason the stairs are lifts which would break the pace entirely if you were chasing another marine (which, let's be honest, happens all the damn time in DM). The texturing is 1994 style, but the layout itself ain't all that bad. It's a typical 90's map.
A great concept with not-so-good execution. You people giving this 0 stars are way too harsh - The effort is there, and this isn't garbage. I don't think naming it the "Lost Episode" was intended in a pretentious way. Still, these are underwhelming, and the custom graphics aren't amazing. I want to give this 2.5 stars.
My maps in this are shit, but most of the stuff here is great.
In response to #3, Doom was known in Japan in the 90's, there are old Japanese DM wads on the archive. There are pictures of anime girls all over the walls and there are some weird-ass SFX, but the map isn't nearly as bad as some reviews might lead you to believe. Just nothing special.

    Work.wad

At first I thought the description seemed very retro for a 2014 release. Sure enough, this is actually from 1995 - It'd be cool if random office workers still made Doom maps these days. This is pretty bland, but it was the authors first (and maybe only) map, so whatever.

    Underworld

Surprisingly good for a first-map from 1995, if the author kept mapping he could have gone to create amazing things. This has a distinct E3 feel to it, the map is a bit cramped and I found myself getting lost quite a bit but I had fun doing it. I wasn't able to reach the exit, I simply couldn't figure out how to progress. Despite its flaws, I enjoyed it.
This is dated early 1997. Not a bad map design, looks rather fun, but dirty is right - What's with the HOMs?

    Foxholes 'R' Us

Interesting concept, I bet this one would be fun.

    UnHappy

Well designed OS map, looks fast! Good use of lifts in DM too, don't see that often.
48 awesome maps. What are you waiting for, download dis shit.

    SEWERS.ZIP

Made 5/6/1994. Funny to think a crappy user made level from 1994 made it into an official console port as a rotten easter egg. Fairly typical stuff from this era.

    BKW3 Deathmatch

Seems kinda like an unfinished map that had good potential. I like the area for some reason, but it's way too sparse.

    Picasso

    Great OS deathmatch map.
I've never seen these maps before - They seem great for duels or even 4 player matches. On the basic side, but not boring. Just like I like it.
When you first boot up the WAD, I find that holding butter above the toaster for a few seconds helps to make it nice and soft, so it's easier to spread on the actual toast.
Wow, this has not aged well. 1 star for the metal pillars you can hide in - That's a gunny troll move. Other than that.....

    DeathQuad III

    Basic, but looks fun enough.

    No Second Chances

Very, VERY basic and plain. You don't want a deathmatch map to be too complex, but this goes way too far in the opposite direction of just being several very large rooms connected by stairs. Not even any crated to hide behind? No pillars, tunnels or anything? Also, what's with the ragdoll? Ah well. 2 for effort.
A gimmick map which relies on the use of rockets - You need to set OS flags on this map or else you'll blow yourself up instantly! Ah, who am I kidding, no ones gonna play this.
