Music Doom (and Chex Quest) FamiTracker NES Covers
Melodic Spaceship posted a topic in Mods & Resources
These are conversions of various classic Doom game soundtracks done in FamiTracker, which can be listened to on my YouTube channel or played in-game via a set of mods. The mods have the music stored in NSF format and thus require a source port based on a newer ZDoom codebase (mainly GZDoom, Zandronum and ZDoom 2.8.1). You are also free to use these covers in your own mods provided that proper credit is given. Most of these use DPCM samples derived from here: https://github.com/mdsvx/samples/tree/master/Roland%20MT-32 The Ultimate Doom: YouTube uploads: Mod download: DoomNESCovers.pk3 Doom II: Hell on Earth: YouTube upload: Mod download: Doom2NESCovers.pk3 TNT: Evilution: YouTube upload: Mod download: TNTNESCovers.pk3 The Plutonia Experiment: Eventually, I'm going to cover the Plutonia MIDI Pack but to tide you over I've arranged a mod for the original recycled soundtrack. doodle by me :3 Hello guys! i figured it was as good of a time as any to post all the musical pieces i've written over the past 4 or so years, its been mostly hiding on my profiles and bio's for a while but it would suit better to be its own post at this point. The archive is almost always constantly updated, and new stuff of varying styles and moods are regularly coming up every month or so. Everything is 100% free to use for and reuse non-commercial works as long as credit is given. Anyhow, i hope you find something of interest or worth using on your projects, thanks! DOWNLOAD LINK

Hello there ! Here comes an OST for the remake, made with the Aubrey Hodges presets used for the PSX version of "Final Doom". I hope you will enjoy it ! ;) To tell you explicitly, it has been made for replacing the soundtrack made for this project : Download it here ! If you want a preview, click right here. ;) The WAD File for the "Ultimate Doom" part. The WAD File for "Doom 64".

There are already many mods that replace standard PC music with console music. But I didn't like something in each of them. So I made my version, the BEST version. This mod is made from parts of others because I a̶m̶ l̶o̶s̶e̶r̶ wanted to take the best from each. The tracks are properly sorted to their corresponding levels from each IWAD (Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, The Plutonia Experiment, TNT: Evilution). Levels that aren't included in PSX Doom use the music order from PSX Doom: Master Edition. I also made two versions: Mid Quality - original tracks (Medium file size) https://www.mediafire.com/file/u2dvdcim2ffok2b High Quality - 20th Anniversary Extended tracks (High file size) https://www.mediafire.com/file/5k8jk22frob1p5l This mod is based on a mod made by CantSleep - https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?p=1126495&hilit

Hey Doomworld! I've compiled a nifty little site including all the midis I have composed for various Doom projects. The idea is that I'll continue to add midis to this repo, as I don't plan on stopping my midi composing anytime soon. ;) Arsinikk's Midi Directory: https://andrikpowell.com/midis/ Currently my directory includes 45 midis I've composed since I've joined the Doom Community, for projects such as: Amethyst Heights (Purple Rain) 100 Line Massacre Corruption (Hellcinerator) Limit Buffet One-off midis from various community projects and more midis in the "Unreleased" folder! Feel free to use the midis in the "Released" and "Unreleased" folders in your own projects with proper credit. Please DO NOT use the midis in the "WIP" folder for projects, as I'd rather those midis be used for my own projects first. You can hear most of these midis that I've uploaded on my Youtube Channel: Happy DOOMing! Arsinikk

Here are some songs I've composed at various points in time. All of these were initially composed in OpenMPT, in IT format, using the default Windows MIDI soundfont's instruments. @Melodic Spaceship helped convert some of them to MIDI. This package will be updated whenever more of my MIDIs are ready to release. You can use these for your projects (even non-Doom projects), as well as remixing or editing them, as long as you give credit. [Not gonna bother listing all the songs in this post anymore, that'll get too unwieldy, just look at info.txt] PlerbMidi v3.zip

Other than the original compositions of the transcriptions/remixes, all midis in the below zip folder are my original midis. The separated few are converted, remixed, or transcripted by me, and the name of the first channel provides a link to the original or specified otherwise. My midis here vary in style, mood, speed, atmosphere, etc.. These midis are free to use in any wad, pk3, pke or any other doom file, other videogame mod/mapset, midi pack, midi archive, etc.. Anything in \Original is free to use without asking (ofc credit me as Hayden49), And make sure to use the info.txt for crediting the stuff in \Transcript/Remixes. If you want to know what my midi style is without listening to them all, I recommend checking out these 4 midis: Too Close to Satan, Pantagruel, Recryptinated, and Siren Stroll. Finally, after years of development, a definitive version of the terminator mod has arrived for Zandronum 3.2 Alpha (and future 3.2 versions)! This is a deathmatch mod geared towards Terminator fans. This mod is a quick TTK fast paced mod with extremely lethal weapon set. It includes two playerclasses such as the T-800 and future resistance, custom bots, Skulltag compatibility, and also 22 maps for deathmatch. This mod also includes modifiers such as InstaGib and Buckshot. Special thanks to @Kaapeli47 for the help with this mod and @Bloo for contributing a few maps to the roster! almost forgot to thank @Proxy-MIDI for contributing to map TMAC17's midi rendition of "Trust Me" from the Terminator 2 soundtrack. Now on IDgames Archive! Moddb Download. Download Zandronum3.2 Alpha here to play the mod, it won't run on any version lower.

Yeah, you heard me. Or read me, rather. I will just straight up make a song for your map, or your titlescreen. I've been stressing over uni, so I need to go back to the thing I love most- Music! MIDI or HQ, doesn't matter. I'll make the first 5 or so people to reply to this with a WIP picture of their project a song.

Hello, here I leave you compilations that I have created of the Jukebox type and also for DoomDynMus. I recommend Metroid, Unreal classic(DoomDynMus), DarkAction(Jukebox) and Megaman(Jukebox). Required Sourceport: GZDoom (Probably ZDoom too, but I didn't test it.) Download: Media Fire - 3/25/24 You ever use the various jukebox mods but cannot bring yourself to play through UAC Ultra with or Doom 64 for Doom 2 with Iron Maiden or Doom's default Midi's bumping away ruining the moody vibes? I shamelessly used the various and best of the Jukebox mods over the years to put together exactly 100 of Aubrey Hodges best pieces from Doom PSX, Final Doom PSX, Doom 64, Quake 64, and Quake 2 64. All of the presented tracks are beautifully ambient and showcase some of the best of Aubrey's wonderful work. This mod also includes Quality of Life Improvements made to the Jukebox over the years like silencing the default MIDIs so on Map Load you don't get brief periods of MIDI before the Atmosphere gets spooky. I won't go into specifics but I did attempt my due diligence. If anyone feels this is skirting things a bit too closely for 'copyright' I will gladly remove this post! Sadly, Aubrey Hodges has not contacted me back as of yet but I would imagine based off past given permissions that he would be okay with this mod under the assumptions that; 1. You visit his Bandcamp Page and or buy his Albums. They are all much higher quality than what is presented here and include tracks I cut from this mod as I did have to keep this list at 100 for my own sanity's sake. I myself purchased all albums included in this mod. 2. I give credit to all who came before in the various Jukebox Mods. None of this would have been possible without Jimmy, or Kinsie, so big shout out to both of them! All mods that I piggybacked off of are properly credited in the Info File. So please feel free to read that! 3. You realize I did very little work here. I compressed some audio. Renamed some files. Edited some basic code so you can get an idea of what you are listening to. If for some reason you are the suspicious or skeptical type, there is a Screenshot of the Mod starting a new track attached to this post. Enjoy!

Hello Doomers! I know this WAD has a relatively large size, but that's mainly because these songs cannot be turned into MIDI. Starmoon is a fantastic breakcore artist (and good friend of mine) who has made some incredible tunes over the course of her music career so far. All but one song for this WAD are sourced from her albums Sapphic Crystal Love and Starmoon (yes, self-titled). Because I'm still very much a noob to modding and stuff, the music can be a bit loud, so I would suggest turning the music down to 50% or so so you can still hear the monsters. I mostly made this for myself and her, as well as other folks who enjoy her music, but if you're a fan of breakcore at all, this music WAD might be one you'll enjoy. The WAD was made with her permission, and again, I mainly sourced songs from the two albums mentioned prior. If you at any point like any of the tunes in this, go support her :) Have fun! -Kat Made for DOOM II, so it should be loaded after any level wads so the music plays correctly (I know most of y'all probably know that, but just in case). The WAD is on this Google Drive link: STARMOONAS.wad

Hello there ! Well, I'm a bit embarrased to write that but... as you can see in the title, I worked on the OST for a project called "Cleanout". But as this megawad has been cancelled for some reasons that I will not tell here (I don't want to create dramas or anything like that), I was a bit angry to have created many tracks for nothing. So here. I'm putting this here if you want to use that for your future wads or megawads. You just have to quote me to make the use of these ones in your future topics and projects. Good listening ! I hope I don't make some abominations. :chuckle: https://www.mediafire.com/file/i3i09yi0x0eogd5/Cleanout+MIDI+Pack.zip/file

What it says on the tin. Before I picked up mapping for good, I used to make ambient music under another handle. I wound up getting a bit too busy to do it regularly, but there's a lot of ambient music I made (I think well over 15 hours in total?) and I'd like to share them with other people. Feel free to use them for whatever you like. Credit not required, but I'd like to see what you make with them. :) Just a heads up: I'm not a musician and the majority of these are made only with Audacity, BeepBox and Online Sequencer...which is to say they might sound bad. Projects that use my music: If you want to listen to them before downloading anything, check my old channel out or just click on the spoilers below for some highlights. I have decided to get into midi making. I still am bad at it, as I randomly place notes. I once placed notes in such a way it sounded like going down soundtrack. With this one I actually wanted to make real music. Sorry if the song doesn't live up to the standards of it's name. Midi

Music DiR's Noise Tank: A MIDI Collection [Commissions Open!]
DiR posted a topic in Mods & Resources
Hey everyone, DiR here. I've made a bunch of MIDIs scattered around different projects, and I've collected them here as a "one stop shop" for better organization going forward. Not all of my songs are the typical doom-fare, but nonetheless I hope at least some of them pique your interest. You can use these MIDIs in your own projects as long as you give credit. If you do, let me know so I can play 'em! I update this archive with some new MIDIs every now and then so check back and you might hear something new. - 2022 MIDIs - - 2023 MIDIs - GRAB SOME MIDIS HERE, THEY'RE FREE: DiR's Noise Tank - Google Drive (.mp3 previews included) Note: All my MIDIs composed with Microsoft GS Wavetable in mind, since I figured that's the soundfont most people would be listening to it on. [NEW] WANT A CUSTOM TRACK? COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN! Happy Listening! - DiR -
A music addon I did from boredom using Warhammer 40.000: Chaos Gate Jukebox as the base, which I compiled all the music by Keygen Church and Master Boot Record from Ultrakill fame into a jukebox of sorts to play at your playthrough levels. Download

This WAD replaces ALL the music with Sega Genesis remixes, as well as turns Doomguy into Sonic, and that all the weapons sprites have white gloves. I believe this WAD will ONLY work in GZDoom, because it uses WAVs for the music, and PNGs for the sprites. The face sprites are off center because they're a bit bigger then they normally are, and I don't know how to center them without adjusting each sprite. The WAD is in a Google Drive link because it's 1 GIGABYTE. This is for DOOM 1 and Ultimate DOOM, and I hope you enjoy! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_QPvW3ZbEtI6rcLaEIMLcTFMHY55k350/view?usp=sharing

Biohazard: Undead Nightmare is a mod, the main mechanic of which is the "real" death of the enemy, only if you shoot him in the head(or he burns, or the damage exceeds GibHealth), otherwise he will regenerate. The mod is made on the theme of zombie apocalypse and on some maps can be similar to Left 4 Dead or Resident Evil (+ if you set the appropriate settings for the atmosphere of level change), for single-player mod is quite difficult, and immediately shows you that to survive alone in the apocalypse - you need to be almost a god of war. So far, 1.5 comes out in open beta and this version of the mod is a global update, if all versions before 1.5 had the look of the mod for vanilla and had only 4 types of enemies, + poor optimization, now it's the opposite, the mod is not vanilla-looking, optimization has become a little better and new classes of enemies should expand to replacing all classes in the doom.(at the moment 15 classes from the doom replaced, 21 classes exist in the mod and used) Video gameplay: Screenshots: FAQ: If you want to create a server Mod uses smart walking, which requires instant processing, and if you play without patch on a server - enemies will dodge bullets like Neo and walk with a delay and 96 units per step(this happens because network comes too many functions per tick, and you will in any case lose packets with ping even less than 50), because of which a patch was made to dumb down walking, ie enemies use the standard A_Chase in walking. Hey Hambourgeois here, just thought about the existence of this old repository thread and if you found this I have a much better way to collect my music which is on my doom site, head over there to get zip archives for .wad midis, and individual midi files for the standalone songs. =========================Original Post Below======================== These are MIDI files I've created for various projects. Feel free to put them in whatever you want! =======================HERETIC STYLE MIDIS======================= The Deep Ones - Made for the PUSS event Quoth the Raven =======CONDEMNED MIDIS======== Long story short is there's a good chance the project I'm intending on using these in will probably languish 60% finished so I want to release them into the community anyway. Listen to E1M1 without the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth only if you dare because I fucked with the MIDI a lot on that one. E1M1 - Hangman E1M2 - Bittersweet E1M3 - The Void E1M4 - Legion E1M5 - Memories and Ghosts E1M6 - The Ancients E1M7 - Magi E1M8 - The Mystery of the Infernal Machine Title - Oblivion's Fanfare Intermission - Release Readme - Lanius' Lament If nothing else I made all the music for this. =========================DOOM STYLE MIDIS======================== ========T667:EEH MIDIS========= These are from an old wad I made way back in 2014. I think it was called Torment 667: Escape from Eternal Hell or something overwrought like that. There are some stinkers in here but there's also some good stuff. This is definitely reflective of my idiosyncrasies at the time (lots of jazz influence, not necessarily the most thought out in implementation, super busy drum tracking, etc.) I remember the title for some of these, others I just made up on re-listen. Astral Caravan - For a surreal level, it's one of the better songs. Mellow. Borrows melodic content from Duke Ellington's "Caravan" Aural Fixation - The readme music. Very textural, also one of the better ones. Buttrock I - Couldn't remember the real name. Definitely inspired by the Mechwarrior 2 Mercs soundtrack. For a techbase level. Diminish - Very simple, gotta have that tritone. B section is a dumb pop punk progression. Doodioteque - Very clearly inspired by Radiohead - Idioteque and MW2 Mercs again. It's decent. Foreboding - A more sinister sounding song than the rest. A little sparse, pretty textural. Intermission - Weird, between level music. Very short. Jazz Metal - Me at peak 2014 Hambourgeois stylistic bullshit. I do not think it holds up but I appreciate what I was going for. Out of Time - Time signature shenanigans, jazz style bridge. I think this does a much better job at accomplishing what Jazz Metal was going for. Showdown - Trying to do an e3m8 thing. Not really a Metal guy idk.

The .wad does have mostly unique tracks but some maps still use stock music from Doom 1 and 2. I feel like someone could give it similar treatment to what Rebirth had and give the remaining maps unique tracks Would it be worth it or wouldn't it be enough maps to warrant it?
