  1. A SEWER 2

This level is the sequel to a_sewer.wad. There are no changes in the structure of the level or placement of items, but here's a list of the new stuff: -Weapon sounds from Duke3d including Chaingun, Rocket Launcher, BFG, and Pistol. -New music: provided by Will Hannah. -A complete sprite replacement of the Cacodemon with a monster from duke3d, including the sounds. -Sound replacements of the Pain Elemental. In order to keep the file size down, I didn't go any further than this....but look for more levels like this one from me in the future.

  2. Attack Station KGx/57

Attack Station KGx/57 was the main city module of every insallation on the world, and was occupied extensively when the base was not under attack. It is comprised of four segments, a Control room, a Computer room, the Shafts and an outdoor area. This station has long been abandoned after it was taken over. It is time to take it back.......

This is not specifically a deathmatch wad. This is mainly for single player gameplay. I have put deathmatch places in each level just in case you wish to deathmatch on them.

  15. Battle House ][ v2.0

:My first real WAD for DOOM ][. I wanted a level (MAP02) to just go around and hunt things. That's why there is such an obvious ending in MAP02. There are 2 or more possible exits on MAP02 & MAP04.

OK. You want a story. Let's see what I can think of. OK. You're taking over a UAC base. That's a good start. They send you to a secret military base and let you load up on guns. Then you open up the teleport and jump in to the first UAC area. After you shut it down by pressing the obvious exit, the secret exit button, or kill the leader you are sent off to the next area.

In the next area you take over another base where there is big security and have to get all of the keys. To finish you have to get into the escape pod and hitting the detach button.

The next area you land on an old UAC area that was supposedly abandon. Well you find out differently. The old castle isn't abandon. You decided to earn a bonus and take that base over. At the end of the level there is a space ship. I could have done a better job at making it but that's all I did.

Make sure to visit the fighting rings and make the Cyberdemon and the Spiderdemon fight to the death. If that isn't good enough tough shit.

  16. Altair3a

This is a BIG level designed for Doom II. It was designed with ultra-violence in mind and is mentally challenging. The level also has a design theme which I hope will be visually pleasing. This is version a. There have been some very minor changes to some areas, mostly the removal of stairs and making the adjacent stairs taller. The big change is the placement of the switches that lower the barriers allowing access to the switches that lower the red and blue key platforms. The switches have been moved to a more obvious location. A number of people indicated that it was too hard to find them. I wanted it to be challenging... not frustrating! Thanks to all who emailed comments!

  22. The Blood Chapters for DOOM II

The Blood Chapters is the shit! You play this now and you enjoy it, damn it. I've made 8 levels so far and they get better as you play them. MAP07 is the best Deathmatch level out to date, if you find my secret hall ways and back doors you will dominate your opponent in deathmatch. I've changed many graphics, made new sounds, added Nine Inch Nails music, made a couple of bad guys, and created a NEUTRONIC BLASTER that kicks ass. You will use a modified version of the PLASMA GUN that is slightly more powerful, and a modified CHAIN GUN. You may also play deathmatch as a REVENANT instead of the usual green soldier. Do you remember the demonic voice at the beginning of level 30? I found out that its a secret message played backwards, I reversed it to reveal the message, take a listen to it on my levels 5 and 6. I used a couple graphics from other pwads but the rest are mine.

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
