  1. Building 3

This level is equipped with one of my favorite surprises. It's the most amazing lighting trick ever done in a wad so far (to my knowledge). Now if you get bored of the normal hunt/find/kill you can turn it into a strobe match: find your enemy by catching a glimpse of him while the lights flash, or find him by following that shadow in front of the wall lighting units. Don't know how to turn on the strobe mode? Well, I guess you'll figure it out eventually. Send me some E-Mail and let me know what you think.

Primarily a deathmatch. We tried to keep it as in-theme as possible. It takes place in the engine room and bridge of a starship. Complete with a working airlock!

  9. ACIDTICK

My very first wad. It is manely made up of 3 rooms each connect with a bridge. The middle room has a pit for that extra touch. Its a great wad for 3-4 player, I have played it 2 player also and it was fine. There is a two player exit...for those who can't stand it when your prey exits before you are done with him.

If you think this wad sucks and you think I could have done better, please let me know. But if you liked the level and have other ideas for me, please let me know also.

  10. Bluegill's Arena of Death

This level is basically one big room. Its meant to be played with monsters (for some sounds), don't worry you'll never see them. :) It's totally a deathmatch level. All weapons are present but some extract a price to retrieve. There is no armor and very little health. Dim lighting makes for a hard match.

  11. Arena of Blood

This is an arena style Deathmatch level. I have never exactly had the chance to play Deathmatch with someone when I designed this but I have set it up to where I think it would be a good chalenge. There are a few weapons spread out but only one person will be able to get the rocket launcher. I hope you like it, have fun!!!

Don't you just love the feeling of killing your enemies with your bare hands. Well then, this wad's for you! NO rocket-launcher, No, BFG's, No weapons at all! Except a few chainsaws. Use them if your knuckles are bruized. This wad is made for death-match II, but I've included a few monsters for you to practice while you're alone. Keep your dukes up! p.s. Don't attempt to kill the cyberdemon.

  16. Chainsaw's Evil Death Match v3.0

This is yet another upgrade in the CSEVIL series, and it is the best, so far... Lots of new places to go and explore. VERY awesome Death Match. Every room links into the main room, plus another room, so there are NO dead ends, which greatly enhances Death Match. There's like, a two player exit, so you can't beat it alone. The first part is behind the BFG staircase in a room. That switch will lower a lift which is behind a door near the rotating body pillar. In there, is a switch which opens the exit door, which is marked by a sign. The first (or another player) must then go in the room and hit the almighty switch. If you want to beat it in single player mode, there is a secret passage into the exit, which is blocked by torches in multi-player. This will probably be the last upgrade of this level in terms of major map changes, but a new version made for DOOM Gore v3.0 will be out soon...

  18. Costa02

Doom II Deathmatch wad with two main buildings and an outside courtyard. I think I placed the weapons well enough for there to be some balance. Monsters are only present on skill 4. Best with altdeath, can use respawn because there aren't a lot of monsters.

  19. AOA.WAD "Architecture of Aggression!"

Small and furious! Looks kinda like a tiny mansion complete with large den, fireplace, library, and various other niceties. Just has that homey, cozy feel to it. Don't mind the blood on the wall or the guns in plain sight of the kids. The courtyard may or may not be accessible and getting outside will get you more then a scratch!

  21. Cage of Death

This is my first wad, so I'd appricate any feedback. This is a wad design for pure Deathmatch (as it was ment to be) only, which means, no BFG or Plasma! only one chain gun, but lots of shotguns, super-shotguns and a few rocket launchers.

The basic form of the level is a big oval with a giant cage-looking-thing in the middle. there are also a couple of coriders leading off from the main room. the trick of this level, is that most of the weapons are in that big middle cage... It's fairly easy to get into and out of (you can tp in [;) lots of opertunities for tp frags;)] and open the door via a couple of switchs, and you can get out by walking over certain spots in the floor (clearly marked).) BUT, if the other player/players knows how (you'll do it accidently alot before you figure it out) they can start/stop the ceiling crusher! crushing your foes to death is always fun >;)

Also, there's one monster... A cyber-demon in the crusher area... I just put him in there to make life intresting at the begining of the game.

Dare you brave the Cage of Death? Can you grab the rocket launcher and shoot your friend before the ceiling crushes you? play and find out....

  23. Blitzkrieg (Lightning War!)

An 8 level deathmatch fest of all original DOOM II levels (I've been hoarding them!). I feel all the aforementioned wads I created suck, and these are 1000% better! To give you an idea of what I like (and what you should be playing!) here is a list of my favs.

    - All DANZIG & IGOR levels (DANZIG17 rulz!) - The BOBxx and DWELLxx series (BOB11 is my fav!) - GKPAK (GKDMx) levels - 2DIE - BLITZKRG levels 3 & 5

If you like any of these levels, then I'll guarantee you'll find something here for you. Some of these are quite different than the others so check out all eight of them. These were designed primarily for the way I like to play deathmatch (Skill 5, -deathmatch), but I included skill levels for other play styles as well. All levels created by me with the exception of level 4 by Abdulah (100% his) and level 2 Ryan (100% his idea, 30% his design, the rest mine)

    - ALL exits are clearly marked!!!!

Level 1: Dethfest - Good flow, mid-sized level, good for 2 people and excellent for 3 or 4.

Level 2: Megalith - Concept wad, Run around on platforms, blow your buddies ass off and keep yours out of the acid! Jump INTO the centre pool for the plasma and teleport the hell out! Corner teleports take you to the opposite corner.

Level 3: Nice and small, with room for 4 (mega-bloodbath!!), perfect for 2. Hit the switch and run outside around the corner for the plasma rifle. The BFG is only accessible if you start there. - DANZIG style level

Level 4: Paztor Switch by rocket pillar lowers rocket, plasma & exit lifts (co-op exit). Features some automatic doors. The 2 switches in the berserk room lift 2 sets of stairs between the 2 main areas.

Level 5: Cozy little fragfest for 2 (or more psychos!). Exit switch opens the real exit to the right and behind of it. Remember, the plasma & BFG are only a hop & skip away! ;) - DANZIG style level

Level 6: Nice open level, with no plasma rifle. If you get a BFG camper, send a nice UAC standard issue, high explosive, armour- piercing, depleted uranium projectile his way (i.e. ROCKET his ass the hell out of there!).

Level 7: My latest pwad. You must shoot the blue skull switches from the tower (shotgun or bullet) to open the doors for the plasma & BFG. Entering & exiting the tower close those doors. Check out the cool midgrate doors (borrowed from HAVOC.WAD by Driller).

Level 8: Something I had laying around. Built around the central rocket launcher area. The rocket lifts are automatically lowered. A bit big for 2 but great for 3 or 4.

This is a level which was ONLY made for DEATHMATCH !! A lot of other Deathmatch-levels are boring, because they are too big! So I made a small but exciting level, where you will see your Enemies very often. There is just one secret place, but a lot of things that wait to be discovered... Please don't feed the Cyber-Demon

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
