  1. RJG Blast, Version 1.0

If you are tired of complete the 32 levels of Doom II; finished R.J.G. Stark Base and Enigma Town then you have been trained for this. This one is the ultimate multilevel sequel. The new argument?: You have destroyed the Enigma Town menace by touching the Sacred Gems in order to activate the Mystical Transportator. You step on it and a curious travel throught the teleport doesn't lead you to home, but a strange place, a very secret teleporter exit in another dimension. You understand that the job is not finished yet, the ultimate enemy, the insane mastermind of all previous Doom Team's struggles against the disasters is somewhere in this "world?" maybe awaiting for you. Now you must begin a quest throught strange passages, bases, castles, etc., terminating all type of insane life form in order to find and destroy RJG Blast. You will face new powerful enemies, new lineage of Hell Knight, The extinct Baron of Hell Spirit, and more. But, you count on great weapons, like the Fire Plasma Gun from Enigma, now more powerful, The new BFG10000, the super-chaingun (more bullets per sec). So can you get stuck off?.

  4. Prower's Collection - DooM 2 version

If you don't like level complications, maybe this will change your mind. The reason? These levels _don't suck_. None of the levels in this collection are done by somebody else other than Prower (me), and I hand-picked the best eight of my own wads.

    Level Name | MAP ----------------------------------------------- Prower's City | 01 Operation: Time Gate | 02 UAC Archaelogy Dome+ | 03 Mining Facility | 04 Lost Deimos Base* | 05 Temple of Stone* | 06 Tekbase of Fear* | 07 Compini Exchange Post* | 08

+ Appeared in The Experiment as MAP11 * Previously Unreleased

Three key level, designed for cooperative play as well as single play. You'll enjoy this wad if you like a good shoot-em-up game. personally, I'm kinda tired of downloading games with 4 cyberdemons and no ammo. If you have'nt have anything better to do, let me know how you liked it.

  12. Raid

Walking through the baren wastelands inspecting the damage that the demons from hell have left you with, you spot an injured demon hobbling about. Suspecting there may be more where it came from. All of a sudden, you hear a crack, and then the ground begins to tremble underneath your very feet. You stumble trying to keep your footing. The quake is too strong. You fall backwards into a steep pit that you never recall being there before. Your bag of ammo snags on a branch, and you fall on your back far below. You hear shots coming from behind. You run for your life. Finally, at a place to catch your breath, you stop and pull out your trusty pistol. You feel this may not be a pleasant journey. You are forced to kill all that surrounds you, in a desperate attempt to spare your life before whatever inhabits this place decides to come home for dinner.

A 3-level co-op .wad. Based in mostly tunnels and waste filled passages. Extremely hard with lots of surprises. Good music as well (stabbing westward, ozzy, pink floyd). Large levels. Another beautiful .wad by me.

  14. Pleiades

Single level with more than a megabyte of new graphics. This level weighs in at more than 1.7 meg with level data at 370 K. This is huge but the play area is not overly large; a lot of sectors and linedefs were used purely for visual effects and appearances. Views of outer space are created using a non-repeating, verically retilable sky texture. Views include view of space both over and under structural parts of the Starship Pleiades when looking out some of the portholes. (F_SKY is assigned to both floor and ceiling in the same sector which I found a way to make it work without the hall-of-mirrors that typically occurs when doing this.) Play action features random monster placement which gives the action a different twist each time it is played. Finally, this level is a standard patch wad that does not alter the main Doom wad and is playable with the standard -file parameter.

Visit the palace of the evil Baron, its dungeons and torture room. Then go on to a seaside cottage. If, of course, you can manage to get there ... For those that can find them, there are some helpful gifts in several secret rooms.

This is a replacement of an earlier version of PALACE.WAD, dated april 30, 1997. There were some slight improvements.

  21. Demon Rituals

This level is designed to be played by one player only. This level is relatively difficult if you aren't a chicken and go with one of the top two difficulty levels. I put more effort in designing this level with the top two difficulty settings; any lower and this should be no prob. This level is loaded with enemies and cool settings. I used a lot of trip wires and many ambushes from both sides. I've given the observant Doomer a lot of hints. You may have thought you cleared out an area but you were wrong, buddy. Ammo shouldn't be a real problem; I mean, you have bigger problems than stinkin' ammo! There is also vending machine where the cost is getting that far! A real handsome level.

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
