  3. Temple Teracculus V1.0

I wanted to make a PWAD that was filled with my favorite elements. (Action/Adventure/Challenge). So here is my first attempt. This is the first in a series of three levels I will be releasing.

Step into Temple Teracculus, where Yorick awaits you. Battle Ettins, Bishops, and CRAZY puzzles to accomplish your goal. Oh, other monsters too. :)

  4. Castle Of Defeat

A single player and multiplayer .wad for Hexen. You must go in and retake the castle. Be warned, however, this task will not be easy. The castle is well stocked with troops, and there is a Wyvern keeping guard over it. You must find the switches to reveal the exit. You must pay attention at all times. Your life depends on it.

  5. HEXELENT

Two levels intended for DeathMatch, Single or Coop. Loads of fun to play.
Pentium power recommended for single/co-op play.
Be careful when you play-there are earthquakes! There are plenty of pitfalls and perils-BUT there is a wrath of god. Somewhere in level 1 there is a place that allows you to kill all the monsters in that level EXCEPT Menelkir. Glass will shatter, floors will drop, ceilings will crush you, spikes will destroy you, you will scream, and then you'll DIE. However, if you get into trouble just go into the dimensional portal within level 1 (Especially fun when playing deathmatch-It will teleport you to random areas within level 1).

  6. City Of Despair

A single player and multiplayer .wad for Hexen. You must make your way through the 'city' to find the switches that will open the gate and lower the pillar giving access to the FlameMask. Once the gate is open, you will then make your way down the path to the final building. Do you have what it takes to complete it?

In multiplayer deathmatch mode there are several doors that open up corridors connecting the main buildings. This has the benefit of making a more "spider-web" level that is better for deathmatching.

A LOT of time went into creating this level. It is almost 300k, and the scripts alone total over 300 lines. I tried to cover a lot of ground with this level to try to demonstrate different scripts. If you see anything you like in here and want to know how I did it, just E-Mail me and I will either try to explain it, or send you a copy of my script. (Check out the Highlander effects when you kill the big bad guy. :)

  7. Hexen: Mission Arrgh

I made this level mainly for single player.. but it is fun in Deathmatch also.. I think Hexen has more possibilities for single player levels than Deathmatch (and is a little more fun ), but they all are cool.. This level is a lot bigger than any of my other levels out there so far, and so far the one with the most scripts..

  8. The Monastary of Korax ver1.0

You've managed to travel from the Church into the mountains. A clearing becomes viewable. As you round the crest of the mountain you see before you a large castlelike building. Creeping through the trees you come upon the entrance. Judging by the statue of a Dark Bishop you assume that this may be the monostary that a few have trained in. An earthquake jutters your thoughts as the path that led you to this place is closed off by falling boulders. You think to enter the area and clense it of it's evil, reaching to open the door you find it locked.

  9. hexgun3.zip

This is the Shotgun3.wad (old doom2 dm level) converted over to hexen.Because of the limitations of the editor the doors and a exit are not included. But it's still one hell of a death match level. The map it self was not changed at all.

  10. GATEWAY TO HELL

I really don't what to call this thing except that it is a little bigger than most of the HEXEN wads I've seen so far, and it is got a lot of action for sure. I don't know how it works in deathmatch, but it LOOKS like a good deathmatch PWAD. Single player is pretty awesome and you pretty much have to fight for your life from the beginning. I couldn't make any teleports work, so they are there but nonfunctional, and also there is no way out of the level. If anybody figures out how to make those damn door things work, let me know. I tried and tried and it kept crashing. Oh yeah, this thing kind of is somewhat of a puzzle as far as aquiring weapons, so it should be pretty frantic finding all the pieces to becoming an all powerful godlike beast.

  13. Hexen: The Morgue

Fast paced deathmatch PWAD for Hexen. If you've played the demo of Hexen, you've probably noticed that it has a lot of great single player action, but that in Deathmatch, it leaves something to be desired. Here's our contribution.

Have you ever wanted to run around, bludgeoning dead bodies until they explode? Or cross invisible bridges high over chasms of fire? And what about running through fog covered swamps to escape an enemy?

You will. And the PWAD that will bring it to you? HXMORGUE. :)

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
