Project Doomed
By Guest
This is a modification of Jay Reichard's "Project Doom" but contains alterations to not only "originalize" the songs mainly but a decreased tempo. Works nicely for those large or long level sets.
pjddedit.wad contains slightly different versions of E3M3, MAP05/13, MAP06/12/24 and MAP28 so if you wish to use these instead, load after prjddoom.wad24 downloads

So you like Doom and metal, right? You have come to the right place because what is to be heard is some super heavy, pulse pounding metal replacements for Doom 2.
There is black, death, doom, thrash, stoner, folk, heavy and a tinge of grunge in the contained WAD.
Volume 2 & 3 will come never, as I have no MIDI files to still go through!47 downloads

Plutonia MIDI Pack
By Guest
One thing that separates the two halves of Final Doom is that TeamTNT composed many original tracks for Evilution, and I think that this added greatly to its originality and charm, even if some of the MIDIs were really short and/or just not that great. So, what if Dario and Milo Casali were musicians themselves, or what if they had other musicians - perhaps even TNT's music team, or even Bobby Prince himself - on board with the project to provide an original soundtrack to the maps of the Plutonia Experiment?
This project is the Doomworld community's answer to that.357 downloads

Gravis Ultrasound patches
By Guest
This is the standard set of patch files that were originally distributed with the Gravis Ultrasound (GUS) driver. If you want to play a modern source port and have it sound like a GUS, you'll find these helpful.
The GUS patches have long been distributed under this filename. Timidity supports GUS patch (.PAT) files, so I've generated several Timidity configuration files that can be used with these patches. More information is below.723 downloads

2 Music Videos
By Guest
This is just another one of those cool ideas I came up with. It's not perfect, but in it's own way still cool. This is 2 different music videos converted to the Doom engine the best way I could do it.
The first one is fanmade and the second one is official. I was going to do a third music video, but due to the lack of interest and slow progress of this experiment, I have decided to abandon the idea of having a third video. This third video I was thinking of was Gangsta Paradise by Coolio. Anyways have fun watching these 2 videos I have presented for you guys. It's recommended that you run this wad in the software render because the videos will run smoother.43 downloads

80's Horror Soundtrack

Replaces the default music with a variety of .OGG tracks that could have appeared in the original game if it had been released in the 80's. That might sound weird, but fans of the original midis might actually like this.42 downloads

Doom 2 Variations by Dimaension X
By Guest
With the release of Dimaension X's "Doom 2 Variations" tribute to Bobby Prince's compositions for Doom 2, I quickly assembled a workable PWAD using the songs to be used in the game using a ZDoom source port. : Note I used 16bit mono in order to reduce file upload size but the songs still sound pretty good. If you want to listen to Dave's tracks in full quality, head to http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot or simply go directly to http://www.archive.org/details/the_doom_2_variations47 downloads

Alternate late game music replacement
By Guest
I always thought the late game music for both Doom and Doom2 were off so I replaced MAP21 through MAP29 and E3M1-E3M9 with more string based MIDI files since I believe they would fit the hellish atmosphere better than the ones provided with the games.11 downloads

Classic Doom Music
By Guest
I just made this wad/pk3 to replace the boring old music in Ultimate doom. However, this only works for episode 1. You can find the whole soundtrack at this link..
http://doom3.filefront.com/file/Classic_DOOM_3_Original_Mod_Soundtrack;52796
You can also get the awsome Doom 3 Classic Doom Mod, from this link:
http://www.fileplanet.com/149666/140000/fileinfo/DOOM-3---Classic-Doom-3-v1.1-FINAL
I have contacted Sonic, and he said, "I would recommend you don't use the mp3's from the soundtrack I have on d3files.com.
What you should do is download the Classic Doom 3 mod, then open the pk4 and find the ogg's in there. Please use those because I have the looping set up for those. The mp3's aren't set to loop correctly, and people might wonder why Sonic Clang is an idiot for not making them loop friendly."
So with that said, that is what i did. I hope you enjoy it :p If i can find some good music for the other episodes, n doom2, i will make another one. Btw, the Intermission, n Starting screen music is from PSX doom. Witch can be found...
http://files.filefront.com/psxd+betapk3/;10733492;/fileinfo.html
REMEMBER: In order for this to work, you MUST be playign with the Doom.wad, and ClassicDoomMusic.wad MUST be in your /Skins folder.151 downloads

This is a simple wad containing an Impulse Tracker module dumped from a music file from a Super Nintendo game, or a SPC file. I used a program called OpenSPC (Google it) to dump it, then used ModPlug Tracker to clean it up and format it. Then, I put it in this wad for use with ZDoom.52 downloads
