terrywads
The wads in this theme directory are all related to what are called
"Terry" wads in the community. They depict anal rape and are intended
to shock and surprise the player because their descriptions do not explain
that, and are generally written to get people to download the files.
Until mid-April 2014, these wads were accepted into the archive, not realizing
the situation with their contents. As of that time, many were purged from
the archives, not because of the content, but because in addition to the
levels and graphics, the authors had padded the files with sometimes thousands
of fake lumps of repeated text and graphics. This made for some files that
although already rather large, would expand to multiple gigabytes once unzipped.
As these are adult-themed wads, they have been put in this special directory
to keep them out of the regular directory structure. You will, if you choose
to download these, have to read the text files to determine if Doom "ports"
are needed to run them. Regardless of that or the single player vs. deathmatch
style of the wad, they will all be put here together.
One might ask why, if they are adult themed, they aren't just put into the
x-rated directories. The reason is that those are specially handled so as
not to show up in the indexes or "newstuff" and that would complicate matters.
Most of the files in here will have been rejected in the past due to the
padding mentioned above, and have been reuploaded without that padding.
As I now look through every file that gets uploaded, I will have no problem
identifying the "terrywads" and moving them here.

Deimos Labs

Deimos Labs is a wad I started a few years back. Even though it's only a single map, every time I began mapping, I'd say, "No, this isn't how I want it to look," and then I'd start over from the beginning. This happened numerous times, and after studying a myriad of community-recommended wads, I have finally created the wad I envisioned. This didn't really take a few years since I stopped working on it for a long time, but I did have the idea in my head for that long.
The map is quite long (it takes me about 30 minutes to finish it, has a moderate difficulty, and is a techbase-themed map. I wanted to make the base feel and look like it's 'infested', and I believe I accomplished that quite well.
Oh, and just a heads-up: You won't be able to complete the map without jumping. Sorry, old school fans!76 downloads

Story: A few years after the events of Doom 2, the UAC, still not having learned their lesson, began experimenting with teleporter technology again. After successfully developing a functional teleporter, the UAC sent in a team of marines and scientists to explore the destination. What they found at the teleporter's destination appeared to be an ancient temple in the mountains of one section of hell. Wasting no time, the marines and scientists began to investigate the seemingly empty temple. Everything appeared to be going smoothly; that is, until the demons arrived...
It's your job as the UAC's strongest marine to travel to the ancient temple, rescue any survivors, kill all demons, and close any demonic portals that could be creating new demons. There's no time to waste.
WAD info: Being an experienced Doom player and the author of this wad, I have to be careful when telling others how difficult it is. After letting a few of my close friends (who are average at the game) test it, I can say that it's very difficult on ultra violence. It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long. -
