Uploaded by : Graham Burgess <GKBurgess@compuserve.com>
Advanced engine needed : None required. Should be OK with source
ports - tested with GLBoom and jDoom.
Comments : This wad originally appeared in the
now-defunct CompuServe Action Games Forum.
It seems these four maps were intended
to be played as an episode - Map04 is
extremely difficult on UV from a pistol
start. The first three maps are all OK
from a pistol start though.
Primary purpose : Single play (Doom2)

There follows the text of the author's original text-file, which
is included unchanged in quantum4.zip.

( Also See the last paragraph of this text file.)
4 Levels which require a certain amount of thought as well as being
handy on the trigger. This is one where it is worth looking around
before doing anything major. Save regularly and search everywhere.
Quantum4
========
Is so called because the final level is set up so that areas are
discrete packages of doom2 stuff and because I like to have catchy names
for wads. For those of you who don't know Quantum theory (me), a Quanta is
a single discrete package of energy which can be in wave or particle form.
There's something to do with probability wired into this somewhere, I think.
I guess I'd better stick to the catchy names theory and forget Physics.
To complete all the way to level 4 you have to be a fairly good player
or use cheat. I NEVER use the cheat codes when playing other wads,
it seems such a waste and Peas on the efforts of the designer.
But each to his/her own, if you REALLY want your eyes glazed over
and go into a mind-numbing state then just listen to any Politician
for a few minutes or a sales pitch from a world famous software
company given by men-in-suits. <g>
The story? Well... you have to clear each area or room and kill all the
monsters, then use the exit(s). Thin stuff eh?
No story unless anyone asks for one for a collection and if I have time.
I will now return to the loft where my family lock me each night to keep
me away from the normal people. At least the pigeons talk to me.
Good luck and above all, enjoy .... :-)

What! you can do whatever you like with it (except sell it) but I would
appreciate this text file being included in any postings or collections
of wads.
If you really want to you can use this as a base but it's much more fun
creating your own from scratch.
* Warnings *
These files have been virus checked using S&S International's Dr Solomons
Toolkit, so there should be no problem. However if not in their
original form or passed around from any other source than CIS or the better
Internet sites it is remotely possible that a virus may have been attached.
Check them out!
I cannot accept any responsibility at all for these files (as per the rest
of my life).
* Different Warning *
Almost finally. Without wishing to spoil your fun, Doom is only a collection
of Pixels on a Screen and is not real, I think.
[It must be true because the Great Pumpkin told me.] ('-')
