TITLE: ELECTRIC SHORTS DOOM-WAD 12
FILENAME: Eshort12.wad
AUTHOR: John DiSaia
E-mail: JDiSaia@AOL.com
(and soon JPDISAIA@uci.edu)
DESC: Here you are in a corridor faced with a
gauntlet of sorts. Fortunately, there's a
shotgun for your beast-slaughtering
needs... This wad features two levels
(replacing E1M1 and E1M2) with new
music for the first level and some new
sound effects as well (from a variety of
sources-listed below).
*Play Information*
Episode and Level: E1M1, E1M2
Single Player: Yep
Cooperative players: Yep
DeathMatch: Not Really.
Difficulty Settings: Of course.
New Sounds: A few.
New Graphics: Nope.
New Music: For E1M1.
Demos Replaced: Nope.
*Construction*
Base: New from scratch
Build Time: Far too long! Oh, the learning process.....
Editors Used: DEU 5.21, WADED 1.81
Known Bugs: A few walls may occasionally become
transparent. This is a second version of
Eshort1.wad, which had a more simple E1M1
with no new music or sounds. This former
version accompanied an ELECTRIC SHORTS
ONLINE article on beginning WAD
construction.
Thanks: To Dream Warrior for Predator.wad from
which a few sound f/x were "borrowed."
To Scott Kearney for the compilation
CLASSIC.wad from which the music for E1M1
was "borrowed."
To ID for making a cool game like DOOM and
then letting guys like me write levels!
*Copyright/Permission*
Authors may use this level to build additional levels, but if it is
released in a compilation or on a CD I want a copy! :)
