Title : "Lawnboy" DOOM ][ WAD (version 1.really-last --is it finally over?)
Filename : lawnboy.wad; waltz.wad / ZIP
File size : About 128k
Author : Josiah Hamilton
Email Addresses : jqh1@cornell.edu
Description : Very large in terms of area, lawnboy is based on
the scenario of a yard, i.e., mostly open area. There
are some twists, of course. This is the latest (final?) version.
Important Notes :My first wad, made over the course of a couple of years when I
had the time. Watch out for the revenants -- they're a whole
different animal out in the open. I don't know how difficult
you will find this .wad, but if anyone gets desparate,
email, and I'll send some suggestions on how to complete it. (hint:
run like hell, hide when you can, and get them to kill each other).
This level _does_ work for deathmatch, especially with 3 or 4 players.
If you play deathmatch, do it _with_ monsters. Waltz.wad is a music
only wad intended to be loaded with lawnboy.
Update info : Got rid of all the ghosting (if I couldn't get rid of the
ghost, I got rid of the place from where it could be seen). Aligned
textures. Heavily tested and tuned deathmatch mode; improved the
sub-areas; got killed a lot; watched my friends get killed even more;
killed my friends. Tried to add waltz music, but somehow screwed up the
wad with mustool, so that it won't accept music. Therefore, I have
included waltz.wad, a music only wad that is intended to be loaded
along with lawnboy. Dance the waltz. Dance!
