SpaceTrash Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) First level using my Dev Textures is getting close to completion - about 90% in terms of geometry and encounters. I think once that phase is done these textures will be ready for an alpha release. Still no switches or door tracks, but really, Dev Textures are there for a place holder for later changes, it's pretty rare that you're undecided about door tracks. Also, I wanted to see how the map/textures handled something other than Vanilla Doom 2, so I whacked on Brutal Doom and covered the lovely orange and grey in red chunks. More pics in the Spoiler. As far as this map - It's going to be a single level. The eventual plan though: all my work since NEIS will be bundled into an 8-map ZDoom episode. Keeping with the "End" theme, I'm leaning towards End Times as the title. Map Listing: 1. Bunker 2. Toxic Containment 3. Boom Stick in the Mud 4. Monolith (Mayhem 2020) 5. Castle DOOM (current WIP) 6. Stifled Man Casino 7. Bad Religion 8. Big epic final fight map (not yet started) Shhh don't tell anyone though. It's going to be a surprise. And I don't want to jinx it!
