LincolnPark96 Posted August 27, 2020 Hello, i want to replace the Super Shotgun sprites with these angled versions and use it with sourceports like prboom-plus and GZDoom, but i don´t know how to do it. If someone can explain it please, I'd appreciate it. Pd: Sorry for the bad english. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
1 Doomkid Posted August 30, 2020 What you would do is import all of those frames into a new wad in Slade. Once imported, convert them all to "Doom image format". You can open Doom2.wad and find the original SSG sprite names in there. Rename all the frames in your new wad to match the frame names from Doom2.wad. Once you've done all that, create new entries around all of them called SS_START and SS_END (just good convention for any sprite replacements). You might have to adjust the X and Y coordinated for each frame so they're all lined up well, but it should work in GZDoom. Vanilla doom requires a little more messing around but if you're using GZ it's not worth all the trouble. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
