Any and all resources that are not original to Doom are made by the wad authors (us), and are mostly supplementary to Doom's existing resources. The maps are a combination of original layouts, remixes, and converted maps from previous projects such as Don't Be A Bitch, AeonDM, and NeonDM. So while some people may have played the maps before on Zandronum, they will be new for players on Zdaemon, Odamex, Vanilla or Chocolate Doom! We've recently made it to the 30 map mark, and have implemented some fun new features: Pistol, Shotgun and Chaingun all have an increased ROF! The HURRICANE FISTS from Rowdy Rudy II make their return here! Rockets and Plasma projectiles travel at a faster speed! New textures, graphics and other visual details! Single Player and Coop now implemented! (No one to frag with? Try on the demons for size in these little "challenge arenas!") Feb. 8th: Development is now FINSIHED. All maps are now complete! Some screenshots of the arenas below: One goal we had in mind while making this was potentially being selected as an addon for the Unity console ports - if the community enjoys this set, we would love to see the console players granted some fun DM turf to take advantage of that sweet 4-player splitscreen, not to mention 30 new arenas to blast some demons in! Endless Posted September 26, 2020 Recently I started to explore some DM maps on my own. The loneliness and the feeling of oblivion gave me certain feelings of peace and tranquility. Decay Posted September 29, 2020 It hasn't been easy demaking some of the UDMF maps. I am not a fan of vanilla mapping, that is for sure. But at least with simple limits it's easy to put out something simple too Sometimes the demakes actually come out for the better. "Pretending to be Original" was originally made for Don't Be A Bitch Last Man Standing 1, in late 2014, and was replaced by Progduel02: Fade in DBAB Remastered.
