Sorry if this has been asked before, but Google gave me no results.
I've been messing around with custom monsters and have added the Avatar and Acolyte monsters (both zscript) from Realm667 to my wad. However, for some reason, they spawn a soulsphere (with a teleportation effect) on the player whenever they die. While I don't mind this for the Avatar so much, it's a bit of a problem to say the least with the Acolytes, who are fodder enemies.
I've had a look through the ZSCRIPT file for each in Slade, but found no reference to soulspheres. Any idea what's going on?
EDIT: I tested it with infighting, and the soulspheres spawn on the position of whatever killed the monster. It doesn't happen with any stock Doom monsters, only the custom ones. For what it's worth, they're replacing the MBF Helper Dog and SS Nazi.
EDIT 2: Tested more. This only happens with ZSCRIPT enemies, but it happens with all of them. Decorate enemies work just fine.
