Searching a old DM map

Hi there,

Recently, I've been replaying a lot to Doom with my bro. Back then (2001 or so), we were doing some DMs on one of our favourite map. it was a fan-made DM map and I've been looking for it for quite a while, but unfortunately I wasn't able to find it. So maybe you could help me to find this DM map. I'll try to describe it the best that I can.

As far as I recall, the wad itself was called something like "Tower" or "Twer". It had a custom music and the Doom marine had two different screams depending of his deaths:

- One for regular death which is a big and long scream (similar to Homer Simpson)
- The second one was a long gurgling scream and it was only heard when you're getting telefrag by another player

The map itself was very small (like a square). It had a long tower in the middle, but it had no door in order to get inside directly. The tower was surrounded by grass, and you could also access to a raised side-zone via some stairs where you can find weapons (Plasma Gun, Super Shotgun, Minigun) and four teleporters on each corners. All of those teleporters lead to the top of the tower (this is the only way to get inside it) where you can find some stuff (some weapons and maybe even a soul sphere but I'm not 100% sure) and then exit it via a windows.

I made a drawing via paint in order to showcase its design.

I did a post over there too. I hope that somebody can help me to find it. Note that my drawing isn't 100% accurate. I'm not sure if the map had four or two teleporters on the corners. I do remember the tune of the custom music, but no idea where this is from.

You could check out Surge, Surge II, or Overload. There are so many symmetrical maps in those wads one could be it.

I've just checked those maps (which are cool btw), but unfortunately, none of them are the one I'm looking for. A shame that I don't know the custom music either 'cause I'm sure it would have helped. I've checked the whole Dwango soundtrack just in case 'cause I know that a lot of modders / mappers were using musics from it back then, but no luck...

As for the scream on regular death, I believe it was actually the same as the one on MK2 (or eerily similar):

 

Also, please note that the raised side-zone section doesn't have a lot of cover since most of the textures near the weapons were BRNSMALC or MIDBARS1.

As of yet, that's all I can remember regarding this map. I hope it will help.

Just forgot to mention something about the tower and the map itself. You see, the tower wasn't big, it had just one floor and the room inside was small (but full of goodies). Therefore, one of the main aspect to this map was to telefrag the other player when he's trying to access the tower via the four (or two) teleporters.
