HO HO HO! Didn't see anyone else post this here, so I guess I will. Christmas In Inferno is a festive episode for Doom 2 made to be played on any limit-removing port of your choice brought to you by Sant-ilya Claus and his merry band of helpers from the north pole the Doomer Boards. Play as Santa and go to hell and back to deliver presents. Get it before Christmas is over!

Bug report (maybe): The lost soul reskin doesn't change their death animation, i.e. they still look like lost souls when dying.

Just gave it a playthrough. These were some fun, quick maps! Liked all the Doomcute in the first level for sure. Map 05 was also pretty challenging.

 

I'm trying to place the MIDIs for maps 1 and 6. I'm assuming they're Linkin Park songs since the other maps all were. What are they?

I think that's just the way they came from wherever Joe got the sprites from.

Map 01's music is from Grinch's Ultimatum, but yes, the rest are Linkin Park songs.

Thanks! I should have figured My December would have been used in a Christmas WAD. I'll have to go back and see if I can actually tell what song it is now.

Most DBPs aren't uploaded to /idgames these days, and this release had a shamefully low profile...Map 02 was really the only weak one.
