I'm mostly enjoying this megawad so far. I do like the rythmn of maps I've experienced so far, with smaller maps being followed by a larger one every fifth map. Though map 10 kicked my ass real good despite carryovers. Health and ammo were at a premium here. Getting past the plasma marine trap took me a good thirty or so tries due to how little health I went in with(only leaving me one measly medipack for when after pressing the switch). Map 11 seems to continue the trend of ball-busting difficulty. The pack of plasma marines in that one made me RQ for the moment.

Great WAD, I love the short but intense map format, and the WAD feels coherent and balanced despite the variety of themes and authors. In general I found the more slaughtery maps at the end easier than the ones at the beginning where you're often suddenly surprised by a nasty trap. The only map that feels off is MAP10, it's too long, has too little ammo, the fights don't feel great and both the megasphere and BFG are tricky to obtain. But overall, this is a great mapset, good job to everyone involved :)

From the very release of "Vigor" I expected that the Collection would be suitable. The creators perfectly approached the transfer of the very style of "SCYTHE". Both in terms of Level Design and Complexity. If you were looking for a "Spiritual Heir of SCYTHE", then download this Collection right away!
