I made a test room for my game.

Final screenies for the prototype, I'm running it on a modified version of freedoom which means some not-freedoom strings do appear when you pick up things because the dehacked file conflicts with the language lump in the data file if that makes sense.

And yes, I'm well aware that the sprites appear clipped because freedoomguy here is basically armored dr livesey in my eyes.

that 1st screen is glorious. love all the maps showing your location as well as the grimy industrial area with the pipe. amazing work 😁

Made something I'd like to share with everyone, requires GZDoom 2.4 minimum and should work with everything newer. This was inspired by @Ruler Poof's amazing in development threads. This pk3 is a basic watermark script, nothing fancy. Two cvars, zs_devscale and zs_devalpha, can control how the watermark looks. Works with any IWAD that has BIGFONT defined. Started as a joke, but @Jimmy felt that this was unironically helpful, so I'm posting it here. Download

Only accessible through a generator (which soon will need a key at the end of the game to activate), you will have to look for this room, that generator in the bottom image will need 8 power cells throughout the game upon which a door will open effectively revealing the game's uberweapon which you get to keep for the rest of the new playthrough: the K.A.K.I. mk2 A.P.R.S

Short gif rather than a static image to show the effect:

First time that I can personally remember seeing the red skull texture used this way, mimicking single bloodstained skulls. The tub on the right raises and lowers different sets of skulls to simulate them bobbing up and down in liquid as well, thought it was very cool.
