Dreamskull Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) All the monsters I have listed are on realm 667. I Highly reccomend the Bruiser Demon, Pyro Demon, Avatar and Gatekeeper. Youll find some reccomendations by other players in my thread there too. In case youre wondering, the evil marine (my favorite) is a brutal doom variant of SS Wolfenstein (v20) and I dont know where youd find it otherwise. The Bruiser Demon and the Pyro Demon are in the "Doom" section The Avatar is in the "Heretic/Hexen" section The Gatekeeper is in the "Other" section All 4 could be classified as midboss types. I dont just link to them because I hope you'll come across something else too on the way. Those 4 right there are top tier winner monsters. Dreamskull Posted May 24, 2023 (edited) Sorry, I dont. I have my own map with a custom beastiary, but that wouldnt help you. I have no doubt theyll pass inspection. Keep in mind though, they arent just randomly slapped together. When you do test them, youll want to give yourself some space to move around during fight. kalensar Posted July 3, 2023 I don't really recommend monsters or weapons for mappers. It's better to build for vanilla unless you want to make TC style game. Reason is it makes maps more friendly to other mods that add guns and monsters. It also lightens the load of writing about mod compatibility. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
