Looking for Survival Horror wads/mods.

I'm looking for a good survival horror or Doom 3-esque experience. Are there any doom 1/2 mods that you guys can recommend me? I'm mainly looking for something that still has combat but more creepy and atmospheric.. maybe even scary... Please feel free to name some mods.

There's a pretty neat limit-removing mod called Asylum Of The Wretched that leans heavily into horror.

 

It's set in a large prison with numerous monsters, limited ammo, and plenty of dark hallways throughout the map. All the while as a somber MIDI plays, which does an excellent job of instilling a strong sense of dread in players traversing around the level.

There's a very obscure horror wad for skulltag called "Nightmare Maze 6" that I discovered in an old video. I have no idea what the story is and I don't have any context of the wad (The link I found for it has no text file or anything). It is pretty dumb at times, but overall I think it's very fun, and if anything the lack of info makes it more mysterious I think. It also features some other extra maps, there is an episode in which you have to kill some jitterskulls across the maps which if I remember correctly was pretty fun too.

 

If anyone else has more info about this pretty much unknown mod I'd love to know it

I just finished Putrefier the other day and was absolutely in love with it. Great atmosphere, intense combat. A few jump scares here and there

 

Only a single level that could take 30 min to an hour.

Haven't played it but City of the Damned: Apocalypse might be what you're looking for. Happy Time Circus 1 & 2 have a great moody atmosphere as well.
