Former Humans = Zombiemen

Former Sergeants = Shotgunners

Heavy Weapons Dudes = Chaingunners

Spider Mastermind = Spiderboss

Arch-Vile = Alien, Martian, Gary*

 

*I don't remember where I heard this one, but I swear I've heard it multiple times

I think Gary refers to a specific Archviles from monster condo that can open the door for you. I remember reading about it too. Fatso is not a cool nickname for the mancubus, IMO.

Since I'm from Poland I'll post them in polish and english.

Demon - Budyń (Pudding)

Nightmare Spectre - Agrest (Gooseberry as in Gooseberry Jelly)

Imp - Kolczatka (Porcupine)

Hell Knights - Ryczek (Howler)

Cacodemon - Oczko :P (Eyeball)

I have my own version, when I see them, I generally identify them as :

 

Former humans = Trash mob

Former sergeants = "Son of a b***" (don't ask me)

Heavy Weapons Dudes = Sniper

Demon = Melee

Spectre = Melee/ghost
Imp = Mage
Cyberdemon = Boss
Revenant = Skeleton/missile
Cacodemon = Fly
Pain elemental = "Oh no, I need to focus them"

Lost Soul = skull/trash mob (like former humans)
Spider master mind = Boss (like cyberdemon)
Arachnotron = Spider/brain
Archvile = Caster
Mancubus = Flamethrower

Baron of hell = red baron

Hell knight = green baron

I call hellknights call hell nobles "big goats", which is ironic given both are just bigger imps.

 

I also very regularly call cybers "cybie" and shorten the name of the other ones (manc, caco, rev, the likes), though I never really gave them proper names. Maybe I should change that. :P

Archvile = angry martian, pissed off martian, I've heard those.
