Some good snowy or christmassy doom levels?

I want to have a snowy christmas session today. Already have Red Xmas by @Kuro_mahoh in line, but wanted to get some more short and fun christmas maps or mapsets. Any recommendations?

Continuing from last year, 4shockblast compiled a big list of Christmas/Winter/snow-themed maps for an end-year demo month, it's not an exhaustive list but there's a pretty extensive collection of single maps and full WADs in the spreadsheet, complete with direct links to DSDA and idgames.

 

Out of the stuff present in this list, a handful of the ones I remember playing and enjoying were Cold Front, Snowfury, the winter-y Fruit Salad maps, and the two snowy maps in Fallen Leaves.

I take any opportunity to make people play Rush. It's one of my all time favourites. The wiki calls it slaughter but it's really a nice introduction to the slaughter elements without the high demand for player skills that many slaughter wads have. For most of the maps, at least.

H2H-Xmas

One of the very early megawads and one that has aged really gracefully considering that fact. Also much more challenging than most of it's contemporaries. Some of the maps are repurposed DM maps but even those are enjoyable.

Pigeon Speedmapping Session 3 -- 50 Christmas Pigeons

I've landed on this at random for ER/iWA and loved it to bits. Mostly easy Speedmaps that feature a good amount of graphical replacements/additions and color palette changes. Perfect for when you simply want to go into autopilot mode and just take in the nice sights and sounds.

This thread got lost in my notifications, but thanks to all the recommendations. I particularly liked that fruit salad, recommended by Maribo, came with a very distinct color palette, though I haven't played the mapset a lot yet.

Invasion UAC I think has a couple snowy levels that are pretty cool, if I'm remembering correctly

Looks like you are right, haven't played the WAD, but warping through it, 7 and 20 are wintery; 4 and 10 have some ice-looking flats but not clear if it's ice. :) Added it to the list linked above (along with Jolly DM, which I had missed).

You better prepare you anus for MAP17. Unusually nasty for a map that goddamn old. You probably also don't wanna see anymore Revenants and Shotgunners for a while after clearing this WAD. Plutonia has nothing on this in this regard.

I took quite the beating yesterday on maps 01 and 02 already. Plenty of dickish enemy placement. I wonder what the hell people were thinking back then, generally I prefer hard wads that don't seem to purposefully hate the player with a vengeance.
