june gloom Posted April 13, 2024 There's a bit of a cottage industry of making sequels to both parts of Final Doom (mostly Plutonia, but Evilution has its representation too.) There seem to be quite a few and I don't think I've ever seen a complete listing. Tributes like THT: Threnody would certainly count too. Here's what I know of, off the top of my head: TNT: Revilution TNT2: Devilution TNT Forever aka Convilution THT: Threnody Plutonia 2 Plutonia Revisited Plutonia Revisited 2 Cydonia Chronicles of Ghost Town Plutonian Sunrise I'm sure there's plenty more I missed? 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

Devalaous Posted April 13, 2024 You missed the Plutinya Experiment, a 1024 Plutonia mapset. Sadly no TNT variant exists :( As for other TeamTNT tributes, there is Icar 2015 by Eternal, an 11 map set requiring Icarus as a resource wad, published soon after news of Ty Halderman's passing 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

Somniac Posted April 13, 2024 (edited) TNT: Renascence and TNT Goes BOOM! come to mind, both very good re-interpretations of the original maps, the latter more a case of using the themes to create new maps. 58 minutes ago, Devalaous said: You missed the Plutinya Experiment, a 1024 Plutonia mapset. Shepardus Posted April 13, 2024 Some of these might be stretching the definition of "sequel/tribute," but I can think of the Plutonia 3 (still in development), Plutonia 3: Going to Surface, Plutonia 4: Back to Your Hole, Plutonia 7: Going to the Hell, TNT: Threevilution, Urania, TNT: Resistance. I haven't played most of these, but Plutonia 7 and Threevilution are great. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post

'32 Hours in Pain' (TNT) and 'One Day of Hellish Revenge' (Plutonia) 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
