[Help] Double swinging doors open/close at the same time?

Yousuf Anik

Question

Hi there! In my current project I am working, I have made some poly object swing doors that I find the idea is interesting to use on a map like this. On the map you can see all of them are working just fine the way they should. Except this one...

It's a double swing door. Since it is on the second floor so to make it work properly and not blocking the way down it I even created 3D floor and give textures as well (damn, it now looks fine, what a relief). The doors are now working fine, they open and close and they look okay.

But what I really want is that they open both at the same time, not separately. Like, if I press the left door for example, the right door should open as well, on its own direction. I mean I want them to open/close both at the same time, no matter which one I press.

They are like this on the map...

Can someone please help how can I solve this? One thing, I'm not really good at using scripts, I mess up with them so I try to avoid them. So if this is a situation where script is the only way then I would really appreciate if you can help me with the coding. I hope I have explained it properly and sorry if this is asked before, I tried searching but I don't seem to find what I'm wanting or maybe because I'm new with these poly object functions. Either way, again stuck on my map.

Let me know if the file link works or not: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TvI2PH3eBQOULe69UnHxuycULGygegpm/view?usp=drive_link

Thanks in advance!

There's some kind of option which allows for mirroring the action for exactly this purpose.

I think this might help, or at least give you something to search for. It's actually perhaps too old. This also may be relevant:
