Early days...

 

Yeah, I thought about that - I definitely want to do it as if the nail(s) are being hammered in - I can probably do a better cut-opening animation if the nail is thrust down faster, for 3 or 4 'hits'. It would look better if the cut opened a bit more for each thrust.

 

I have a neat sound added already for the hammer sound.

thank you! and this is real 3d geometry with proper collisions, LOS and hitscan, not just some fake 3d model. it also can rotate (rotating all things standing on it).

 

i hope some of you already want to build some interesting things with it. (git it? got the joke? what great comedian i am!)

I just finished MAP07 of my WIP Megawad "Below."  This was my first attempt at making a Dead Simple replacement, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.  The 4 pillars will lower down to reveal the Mancubi who guard the Gate.  As for what lies beyond the gate, well... you'll have to wait and see!  (I'm really excited to release this WAD but I still need to make 4 more maps before Episode 1 is ready)

These are screens from mostly-finished maps for Sucker Punch 2, the sequel to my 2018 WAD (for real this time).

This really motivates me to get back at it.  Definitely like the QUAKEish Grassy look.  Seems as though, hell is about to take over you know.

Im working on Space Cats Saga Chapter 2: Macrocosm (Search for the Commander).

2 player classes with their own weapon sets and abilities. Lux and Yaeska

Already have the maps done (10) and working on balancing all guns.

Posted this on the wrong topic but I'm starting on my first city map. I just gotta find out how to make some areas without looking into too much in Hellbound or Valorant. As well as making sure some of these aren't gonna screw somebody over while moving around plus not itching to hit CTRL-C + CTRL-V
