ChaseC7527 Posted February 13, 2023 Just a sneak, but this is LongShore.wad, currently in the testing phase, been worked on for about 2 weeks. This map takes place from earth, to hell, back, back to hell, and back to earth once more. Includes: 103 monsters, 12 secrets, uses all 6 keys, a helper dog you can bring with you to the end (You wouldn't leave him there, would you?), and over 25 minutes play time, for me it was 24 on UV no secrets. Custom monster (Annihilator). Custom title, level, and int music. When this map is finished it's going on Doomworld/Idgames. No thread here so you can get playtests from users? The map doesn't look bad, but all mappers have some kind of blind spots to their own work. Thing is that new modern idgames review section is broken for almost 5 years and legacy site has comments and ratings closed. Anyone randomly encountering your project is quite low, unless they follow you around, check newest releases or seek something quick to play. By not making thread, you're robbing yourself from exposure. I always write a thread whenever I release a map, I guess that was just poorly worded.
