Fair enough and I know that feeling. It's just that art doesn't exist in a vacuum except for in the painting program :P

 

Sometimes we need to let it out into the world to see it truly flourish. Anyway I'll shut up now before I turn armchair philosopher again. Good luck on the texture!

I appreciate the effort, and it looks very nice for sure... but it would probably make a lot more sense if it scrolled horizontally, with a linedef action :P

how much of this is free to use (with/without credit?) these textures look amazing - i'm just wondering whether we can use them

It's usually assumed you can use whatever, with credit, unless post specifies it's meant to be for some special project.

Scrolling textures left is old and busted, we scroll textures vertically now, we are hardcore, we are living on the edge.

The only person I recall specifically asking people not to use their content from this thread was Ukiro, because those textures were going to be added to OTEX. Other than that, just about everything will be fair game.

made a custom texture using COMTEX's RAWDF1

you can use it but you should credit COMTEX and me

about the actual fan texture (yes it's a computer fan) i might do an full sized later depends of how much time and the receptions

Also, I had AI make me some more paintings. I had to hunt down rogue pixels manually after resizing to doom-friendly format and paletting, but I think I got the most of them.

Blank variants of the Ancient Aliens Shootable switch, probably not originated from it. I'll try to make variants with different backgrounds for this one. Can be used as a patch too.

Reminds me of some old Under Construction images when websites in the late-1990s were still being under development.

With the recent link from @Andromeda I discovered a new square tile texture and relapced into recoloring and copypasting. I made 23 variants (Grey is original, although I swapped one color for ease of transition)

 

Attached archive that's all the images, and you can easily cut your own (I need to stop doing it, I'm already all the way to letter U)
