  1. There was this one time years and years ago on my channel that a segment of someone's cover of E1M6 during gameplay I got some claim that that bit was by some Jazz or Blues Rock tune from the 60s or 70s. I supplied adequate evidence and the claim was rescinded. Like Doomkid said, YouTube needs to add that fifth option in response "This claim is fraudulent and the entity does not own the rights to this content."
  2. That E1M1 OPL2 vs. OPL3 of yours is night and day comparing to the original.
  3. Well shit, that's definitely one of my oldest mods on /idgames/. 22 years now! My maps were more entertaining back then, even the pre-00 or pre-2010 maps which were under alias "Mr. Chris"
  4. Jimmy, Stewboy and a variety of other community musicians here. I even use TuxGuitar to convert song tabs on ultimate-guitar.com if there's (a) track(s) I can't find in MIDI format already.
  5. Thanks for playing the "Ultra" boss set I did. However, I'd wager you'd like Ultratower, the E2 equivalent and maybe Ultra Dis just for the architecture? 90s looks? That wasn't the goal but was to give a "classic" feeling by not being overdetailed. I think I made a much harder version of Ultra Anomaly somewhere..
  6. I missed this earlier so here's my stash: $650 'Cargo' pants w/ flexible waistband Dr. Squatch bar soap, deodorant and toothpaste ('Sasquatch' was a playful nickname one of my brothers used in our high school days) Cologne Pajama pants that are a notch too long for me A spare set of fluffy slippers (Brother got shipped two or three for some reason? lolAmazon) Pair of jeans
  7. I normally do this the same day as Christmas or the day afterwards every year (IE 2017 here) but I forgot this year...oops! Anyway, what did everyone get this year? I got: $650 'Cargo' pants w/ flexible waistband Dr. Squatch bar soap, deodorant and toothpaste ('Sasquatch' was a playful nickname one of my brothers used in our high school days) Cologne Pajama pants that are a notch too long for me A spare set of fluffy slippers (Brother got shipped two or three for some reason? lolAmazon) Pair of jeans I do believe that is everything on my end.
  8. Plasma and chaingun for sure. Sometimes a BFG is needed for Obsidian (fork of Oblige) maps as sometimes on higher count maps, could be a bunch of monsters in sight and facing you..
  9. I liked Golf on the NES, out of the games listed there. Thanks for the memories, dude.
  10. I remember keep seeing this when searching for my own WADs there and wondered "Who is this guy?" (my name is also Chris, so I used Mr. Chris for a while for upload author). it's nice to see someone did this before I had mapping capabilities (which was in late '95/early '96). It's always pleasant to see your work getting attention 27 years later, yeah?
  11. Hmmm, is that an Astolpho body pillow I see?
  12. Dying in any means with your field of view right in front of a medkit, taunting you.
  13. So I tried recreating the home I live in..Though setups in a few rooms have changed since this as this map was scrapped in 2015. I don't know why the screenshots are half native res though.
  14. Here's some of my created levels' map titles..
  15. >Quality >Fast Pick one, you won't get both. You're better off learning to use Ultimate Doom Builder, which is not that difficult to grasp. Maybe a few hours to grasp how to make a super simple level as proof of concept by doing it yourself. There are royalty free assets (be it free or cheap in price) you can use as a base for graphics modification. Sorry, but you're very unlikely to get any bites on this forum.
  16. I know I have the full set of tracks from both Doom and Doom 2 but I am not sure where I can find them, as I likely forgot its source location. Anyone have a lead on this artist's work?
  17. I do not acknowledge 3 as being part of the series, it's more of a fan made creation to me.
  18. The Obsidian map generator (OBLIGE fork + successor w/ ObAddon) has an in-joke with them. It's pretty subtle but amusing nonetheless. How do I know this? I'm a developer for the project.
  19. Still mapping? You should encourage him to upload his stuff at /idgames/ so we all can enjoy his completed works, if he's not done so already.
  20. Humm what's this? More post-id software Romero goodies? Nice.
  21. Glad you had a largely positive experience with my UD map.
  22. DOOM '16 and Doom Eternal do not exhibit this problem last I checked.
  23. Tried it recently, I am not getting vertical sync (despite being on) and the screen tearing bugs the crap out of me.
  24. I haven't given Vulkan a try. I'll give it a shot when I fire up the game next time.
