  1. Framerate plummets on the exterior of Planisphere 2, not sure anything could be done about that, no? System: FX-8300, 16GB DDR3 RAM, RX 590 8 GB
  2. Goodness sakes, that moving interactive staircase. Straight up UDMF pushes things to ungodly bounds here!
  3. Maybe, it would be difficult to maintain a strong interest in the long run. Drop in occasionally to play an episode or two, then exit for a while.

  9. I am trying to replicate the same exact behavior as the imp trap in Hell Revealed MAP31 but can't get it to work. I have the linedef, tag and action ( action 5, W1 Floor Raise to Lowest Ceiling ). What am I doing wrong here, also I am trying to lower an elevated floor instantly but to no avail. The instant raise trick works ( action 19 ) but not instant lower for some reason. Attached is the example map to see what I am doing. ~testtrap.zip
  10. I could have sworn I uploaded it over the summer or fall of 2020 but I don't see it on /idgames/, any idea where it might have gone? I checked the REJECTS and I may have gotten a confirmation asking to reply so I don't know what else to do on this case. May as well just reupload it if I don't see it. Disregard this, I decided to upload it.
  11. This is still going on? I always loved watching people play through these maps but didn't have much to play on this because they 1) take too long and 2) I'm prone to getting lost on some of the bigger levels. Excellent job, Gazebo. I wish I had the patience to make giant, sprawling maps like these.
  12. If you have widescreen, 100-110 should be OK. I have an ultrawide (2560x1080) so I use 120 FOV.

  14. It is mentioned by this poster's long hidden image under the spoiler tag. You'll have to increase magnification with your browser to see it better without putting your face closer to your screen.
  15. Largely vanilla, utilizing this modification of mine but without the absurdity. I say this being a former Brutal Doom fan and user, I just got tired of it and as others mentioned, it made some custom maps unplayable due to the balancing or voodoo doll bullshittery.

    A fun, good looking episode 1 mapset for Doom with a modest amount of difficulty. Recommended.
