I'm creating a new band, and I came up with a name: "Void Central".
Only thing is I don't know if I should switch it and make it "Central Void" instead.
So, I don't know, I'll create a poll here and see what you guys think is better. -
Alright, my Wii U has been collecting dust for some time now, and I thought it'd be time to get a new game for it. So I went out and bought Mario Kart 8, and it's an amazing game. Seriously, if you have a Wii U and don't have MK8 for it; get it.
But anyway, I was looking inside the case for it and looked at the Nintendo Club pamphlet. I noticed that someone, with pencil, wrote a code for TLOZ: Wind Waker HD on it. I tried it out by typing the code into the Wii U, and what do you know...it worked! So now I got one game I bought, plus another for free.
Who the hell would give out a free game code anyway? They're pretty generous if anything...thanks random dude!!! -
I was simply downloading a wad on mediafire.com, all of the sudden my computer locks up and a bunch of porn popups appear on my screen. Of course, I shut my computer down IMMEDIATELY. Turned it back on, seems to be normal. Checked my virus protections, they all said the pc is in good condition. Really weird what just happened though...

And the dude got hit with so many porn popups that they're permanently burned into his screen, but they're animated GIFs, so they wiggle and bounce...
And it turns out his screen is just a plain old VT100 and he was browsing with Lynx... Now that would be creepy! I mean that his equipment would display anything but plain text, not that he's a Lynx user. ;-)
Granted, aalib could be used to render something that looks like porn on 80x25 terminal if you squint really hard. But getting Lynx to execute that would be the hard part. -

Not necessarily... (NSFW)

I recently had a weird dream where I was on a game show. Now this wasn't any ordinary game show, this was a hot tub 'who want's to be a millionaire' type game show. So it's me, some two other guys all in a hot tub versing some other guys in another hot tub next to us. The setting I'm in is like on some kind of rooftop, it's night time with the stars all out and we seem to be in new york with the skyscrapers illuminating the night. Anyway, I said to the guy next to me "hey man", and he replies "this is pretty comfortable", and I say "well, let's not get too comfortable now". So anyway, the game show starts and this guy who is like 6'6 comes out with a black suit and tie on. "Welcome to hot tub questionnaire, I'm your host [can't remember name]!", the audience cheers. I can't remember which questions he asked us, but I remember him asking something about "What can drinking too much soda lead to: A. Diabetes, B. Diarrhea, C. Hernia, D. Liver Problems". In order to answer a question, it's kind of like family feud where you have to press the button before the other guy does to answer the question. So, the other team answers with "Diarrhea", the host replies with "wrong". Two guys in white suits come over with flamethrowers and burn the guy alive. I am scared to death, what if that's me?! All because I didn't answer a question right and they burn you up? "Let's hope that's not you!" He says.
Then I wake up, with a weird feeling of oldness, like everything is old basically. Nothing but a hot shower shall cure the feeling, but what a strange dream. -
Someone stole my bike today, it was the weirdest thing. It all started when I rode my bike with my backpack which happened to cost around $40. I wanted to get something to eat, so I parked my bike on the far back of a Wendy's restaurant. So anyway, I was sitting in the Wendy's restaurant and when I got my food and sat down, all I see is in the left view of the window I see some guy running with my bike and my backpack. I just looked at him like "you dick".
Bike's gone, $40 dollar backpack, gone. Luckily, nothing was in the backpack in the first place, but all the thief left was my bike helmet. That's it.

I have this weird thing with myself which is that I wish I created a account on a site sooner than I did when I exactly joined so I could experience some of the things that were going on then. I joined this site about 9 months ago, I browsed these forums rather often before I joined. Do I wish I joined sooner? Yeah maybe. Do I wish I joined a lot lot sooner, like 8 years ago? Well, no considering that I was a toddler when Doomworld was in it's early days, but I vaguely remember me being on the computer ALL the time, but I knew nothing about forums so a chance that a four or five year old joining a forum (rather these fourms) is extremely unlikely (but hey, that would be pretty sweet). Does anyone experience something similar to this?

I've recently seen some videos for the newly released Call of Duty instalment, Black ops 2. It seems like they actually did something different with the franchise now, and actually looks pretty fun. My question is: does anybody here happen to own black ops 2? If so, is it worth buying?

Well, I got through the campaign yesterday in about 7 hours on Hardened. Managed to get the best ending, even though there's probably a few people that wanted to survive (some G20 leaders, in particular...) that definitely didn't!
I thought the SOCOM-style ability to set your load-out before going into the campaign missions was pretty cool and the addition of 10 challenges for each mission, unlockables and a scoring system made the game a bit more interesting. The branched story paths (and some other in-game binary decisions) certainly introduces some replayability, as does the aforementioned ability to customise your equipment choice at the start of the missions... Although I'll admit that the second I got the ability to run around with a silenced, golden Barret .50 cal sniper rifle, that was my only real choice. The future stuff (Quadrotors, little robot tanks, etc.) is a lot of fun to play around with in the Strike Force missions (optional, but fairly important to beat) and lends itself nicely to some additional power in the campaign too - no idea how it works online or in Zombies, as I've not tried those and probably won't get the chance for a while.
Basically, there's quite a lot of additions and tweaks when compared to Black Ops and I like it. I think it makes for a richer game experience with all the usual gung-ho spectacle that a CoD campaign is all about. This can go either way. They've either changed it too much (and now it sucks) or the experience isn't different enough to justify buying it (so it sucks) or the changes are good improvements (so the old ones suck :P ) depending entirely upon what you think of the previous games!
I am in no way a CoD fanboy and I've never actually bought one for myself (Black Ops 2 is a present for my brother that he let me play before he gets it at Christmas) but I've quite enjoyed the campaigns on all of the ones I've played. If I was also an online player, it'd probably be worth the money to get each one as that's days of playability right there.

I was looking through my camera and found this:
...Just what the fuck is this? -
So this is my first blog, yay. Well, I didn't have anything to do today, didn't have to go to work. So I ordered dominoes and enjoyed it.
Aaaaaaaaand that's it.
