I started playing the original Doom around the Doom 3 era on the original Xbox via the "Doom 3: Limited Collector's Edition". I had already played Doom 64 as a kid and that's what had originally gotten me into Doom, although the N64 version wasn't necessarily my favorite game (too dark).

I had a couple PC's as a child (starting at around 10-11 yrs old) but I don't remember playing Doom, only Duke Nukem 3D at a buddies house a few times.

I've also owned quite a few laptops throughout the years that I would briefly play Doom on but i didn't seriously get into playing Doom until around 2015 or so which is when i built my first budget gaming computer.

I usually always play Doom vanilla but i don't mind mixing it up once in a while and trying out some mods :)

I'm also into music (classic rock, thrash metal, 90's grunge/alt rock, some 80's pop) and i like playing guitar as well.

Nowadays my 2015 gaming desktop is technically obsolete and I have a new laptop instead as i can move it around so I'll be getting back to Dooming pretty soon here. I just need to get used to Windows 11 first ;) Going from Win 7 to Win 11 is a big step for me.
