A cool 12 map adventure with custom monsters, the first half of the episode is amazing, fast simple packed action. Later on the mutated enemies and non-linear progression fails to my taste.

A giant light-puzzle driven heretic mega-map adventure against the apocalyptics summoned D-Sparils.
I played with Wayfarer's Tome mod for added balance and action.
-
Too many stations, amazing music and barrels.
-
This is not a joke map and I didn't get impaled (not even once). For a demo it's a lot of fun. Favourite: The Matrix.

Lode Runner plus Doom. What a trip! Just collect the gold and run.
-
Cool detailing and tricks but some problems with the gameplay and monster placement. For a first map it's very impressive. Maybe more space, less big monsters and some outdoor areas.
-
Absolutely amazing. The hellish ones are the best. More puzzles please.

Fast plasma party Xaser sharp thorn inspired crimson spooky Ud map.

It got me so bored. And I'm trying to understand why. I played a lot of 94 to 96 wads and these maps feel souless.
Like the mappers trying to be a parody of themselves. I got nothing to remember but lots of big rooms full of monsters and uninteresting geometry. There's so few cute moments. The monster count is so off like streching too much sauce on a flat sandwich. If the original authors had taken 2 years to create the d2 maps.
And thinking that the Casali brothers created Plutonia in a couple of months.
Reason for edit: The Secret Levels :/ -
The maps are good, sometimes too good to fit to the whole idea. I enjoyed them but something is missing here.
Some maps are so long and complex. I agree with P41R47 except for e1m9. -
M1 a little confusing but great visuals. M2 was easy and ugly. M3 revenants...
M4 soo much detail, love that train. M5 a psx map already played and one I didn't like.M6 a psx map already played but I like. M7 pain elementals how I love them.
M8 that archvile doesn't belong here. M9 already played. You don't need d2 stuff to make good gameplay in doom. And there's a lot of inconsistency in the visual deparment.

Core Zero it's an amazing (secret) map. I could not kill Baphomet because it keeps dividing by zero, I guess that's what real demons do...Great music.

The best of the Titan Series. It starts out a bit annoying but after solving the first set of problems it opens up into several different paths. With the classic screen-clues, a lot of movement between platforms, smooth puzzles, and gradually modifying the layout of the hub. I love this map. Visually "ugly" and abstract but the sense of great adventure is worth it. Are you saved?

Another in the Titan series. One of the simplest if you calmly take the time to find the hidden weapons. Moderately long but entertaining. Abstract.

It took me several tries to unwrap the map but I really enjoyed it. J Flynn still amazes me. A tricky great map.

A very early J Flynn map. Huge space, with some switch-hunt and jumping here and there. Just turn that m01 midi off and explore.
-
More difficult than I remembered. Great midis. Aberrant monsters (cute lil-cyber). Some puzzle maps. But in general a lot of action. Memorable maps everywhere.

My favorites list: 10, 11, 12 and 23. Lots of city maps (I don't like them), or inspired by renowned ones.
-
A good combination of action and clever puzzles. Too much fun.

A mix of maps. Not play so seriously. I liked the sounds. Groovy its a classic.

I like the destroyed base after the first map, but gameplay seems a bit odd. The third map doesn't feel like a continuation to the second.

A small and fun tech base breakfast, maybe good for a slot 01 but lacks something memorable. And where is the old school feel??
