I'm a former Quake III Arena / Quake Live high skiller (with OCD tendencies in some stuff, but I guess that's quite obvious already, if you look at this page), FFA specialist, competed in House of Quake EU 4v4 TDM leagues with decent success, from div3 to div1 (with Elder|Quad|Shrine in div3 in 2014 & and with Pandaemonium in div2 & div1 in 2017-2018; you might know me as Freiya/0rigin/Sarge_ql/kasual – if so, fancy meeting you here, drop me a holler). Have about 8000 hours or so in the franchise (roughly half of it is QL), but I'm on a 'break' since mid-2018.

Now reliving my childhood in DOOM since late 2019/early 2020, working as an IT journalist in my late 30's. I say reliving, but to be honest, DOOM always had a special place in my heart, the id Tech 1 (and Build engine) generated environments take me from the cold reality to the place of dreams, where everything is possible. Well, except sectors on top of each other. : D

Used mainly Crispy Doom 5.8.0, and lately – since v0.21.3 – rocking DSDA-Doom (now on v0.25.6, but still missing a few minor stuff from v0.24.2), and Odamex 0.9.5 for multiplayer, but I have a strange affection towards Chocolate Doom 3.0.1 as well. I'm fascinated by speedrunning and mapping (even beta testing on UV), might even try myself out in these fields. Well, I already did, and planning on continuing. I should deep dive into mapping tho.

Have you tried Doom Explorer to create parametered shortcuts for anything in a quick, easy and very transparent way? It's so simple and convenient.

A few DOOM runs and blind plays, and some Quake Live PoVs, from back in the day. Tried to upload decent games, so the Quake part is mainly high-skill FFA and div2/div1 TDM pickups/practice wars/official games. I'm not a streamer/YouTuber though, so don't expect huge production value. Or commentary, because I'm shy af, even though that doesn't really show in writing. : D Maybe that'll change in the future, but who knows?
