This gave me the best looking results for doors: -The whole door sector is almost always 64 map units deep. -Door itself is 16 mapunits. -For the doorsides i use always DOORTRAK as texture. -On both sides of doors i used the DOORSTOP texture for the most time. -For the outer 16 mapunits i use either lights, support or one of the keybar textures. -For the bottom i use for the techdoor types FLAT20, for the silver/shawn type doors FLAT23, for woody doors FLAT5_1 and for that browny skull door seen in plutonia i use CEIL5_2. Here is a example of how i design a door:

  4. Probably someone has done it before. I made a better version of SUPPORT2 that tiles perfectly.

  6. As I said.. Probably someone did it earlier.. but Jimmy's link doesn't work anymore.. And I dont think its illegal because all textures are consist of 1 patch now so its modified and I modified the skullswitch with some PSX Doom edits in the skull so it looks more evil. Textures like the a-rock serie etc doesn't override the stock d2 textures anymore like FIREBLU for example so you can use now a-rock as well fireblu.
  7. Probably someone has this done before but i made a plutonia texture pack that can be used with out the need of the plutonia iwad for all your plutonia map packs. I put in all the plutonia exclusive textures in it with some extra textures from Plutonia 2 and and other sources as well a brown waterfall and a good lavafall. Also made some usefull flat edits like lights, teleports, step1&2 etc by making them offset by 32 pixels so it fit almost always right.   8. yes you can connect every keyboard/synth with midi in/out with the midi out/in from the sc55 and play with the sc55 sounds. Bobby Prince used a Ensoniq EPS as midi controller back in the day.
  9. Hi guys here's my updated version of my space themed map UAC Interstellar (AKA Vrack 6), wich is now compatible with all boom compatible source ports. Here's the idgames link: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/v-z/vrack6 Sadly I discovered that 1 lift was broken and 1 (DOORHI) texture was missing so i fixed that and here's the link of the fixed wad: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8o7qsnzcszxtqoi/vrack6.wad/file -Doors with red lights can only be opened by pressing a switch. -Doors with blue lights can only be opened by walking over a linedef trigger. -Doors with yellow lights are one sided doors.
