Well, I guess you could say he's a "Sigma male". Ugh... To be honest, somebody was eventually going to make that damn joke, and I really wish it wasn't me.

Samurai Warrior: A fighting game by Miniclip. There's no story mode whatsoever, you just pick a character for you and your opponent, a level, and kick some ass. For a game which is supposedly Japanese-themed, only 2 characters fit the theme, a martial artist and a ninja. The rest are of American origin and is comprised of the following: a USMC colonel, biker gang member, mutant scientist and a street gangster.

I contacted him through his official website, xxaxx.com.

Video games with your favorite sound design?
Panzermann11 replied to The BMFG's topic in Everything Else
There's something really unique about the sound design in Valve's Source games, particularly Day of Defeat, Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2. The sounds, particularly the weapons feel punchy and recongizable. -
I'm now curious on where this "Cozy's" place is. Would love to visit it someday, feels so calming and relaxing, especially during a stormy night.

To answer your question, it's an obscure first person shooter that I, the original poster, and @!Exploding lips? have been trying hard to track down the full version. It's covered by @Revenant100 in his Obscure First Person Shooters series, and like the original poster said, it's the game which the Doom mod, Mayhem Mansion is based on. Like another member also said, so far only the demo is available on the internet, and the full version is considered to be lost. Claude Needham aka Xxaxx, the guy who contacted, claims to be one of the developers of the game and have the full version (ableit broken, but trying to fix), so we might have a lead on obtaining the full version.

I actually tried what you suggested, going to the Archive through the Wayback Machine to retrieve the books. It doesn't work, the Wayback Machine excludes any URLs related to the Archive.
-
Probably not a good time to make a joke when tons of old media are at risk of being lost...
-
When I mean "software", I mean media of that category in the Archive; should've clarified. And no, I don't use qBitTorrent for Linux ISO files.
-
Bad news: 500,000+ books have been removed from the Internet Archive. This isn't looking real good, I fear other media such as software on the Archive might be next on the chopping block...

That 2005 movie based on a game that I'm pretty sure everyone on this site knows about. Honestly, the only reason I watched this movie is because of the funny eyebrow man.

What "Lost Media" are you interested in?

So, the mysterious Username 666, whose account was reverted of its termination after many years ago, had this in their favourites playlist.

Fun story, I found out about this song when I heard on Twitter (or X if you're really dumb) that the mysterious Username 666 had its account un-terminated after many, many years ago. Apparently this music video was one of the videos in the account's favourites playlist, along with a Naruto parody video.

What are the best lyrics you've ever heard?
Panzermann11 replied to AtticTelephone's topic in Everything Else
No Rest for the Wicked, by Cage the Elephant. The song perfectly sums up the one of the primary motives for crimes: it mostly boils down to money.
