  3. Thanks for the example, I had actually just stumbled across A_CheckRange and had used that to set up an attack. It's interesting to the see the multiple ways to skin a cat here, and I wonder if there are any significant differences between checkrange and jumpifcloser in this context, other than how they check distance.

  5. So as the title of the topic implies, I'm trying to add an extra attack to the revenant via zsript. I specifically want to give him an additional attack which he will use when at longer range, to overcome the slow flight of revenant rockets. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the best way to do this?

  8. I am pleased to announce the release of my second map, Into Gehenna. Developed for zdoom and derivative ports using UDMF, I made quite a lot of use of scripting this time around, much more so than my last map, which used a good amount. The IWAD is Doom 2, like you would expect. If you dare to enter Into Gehenna, prepare yourself for a high octane romp through the depths of Hell.   11. Ok, so I've put together what I reckon is the final build of the map. It's actually got a MAPINFO now, so it has a proper name and partime. I've submitted it to idgames, so hopefully it'll get on there soon, but in the meantime I've also put it up on doomshack https://doomshack.org/uploads/underpressure_final.zip

  13. I'm gonna throw something together for this. I just want to say I hate it so much though. 10 lines is a hateful limit, so the level will probably suck.
