  1. The original, the classic, the legend. E1M1 - At Doom's Gate:
  2. It's either "Big Fucking Gun" or "Blast Field Gun".
  3. Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge from the classic XBox:
  4. I'll take this seriously. For savory dishes, I have to admit that I like to have a smoky flavor, like it's been cooked over a wood or charcoal fire. I know that people are going to say "taste the meat, not the heat," but there's something to be said for the flavor of smoke from real wood. In sweet dishes, it's very much case-by-case; but I actually like the combination of chocolate and mint.
  5. Make no effort to rescue me from my Brain Rot. There is no hope for me now. All you will accomplish is joining me in the endless pit of insanity that is The New Order: Last Days of Europe. I don't even play Hearts of Iron 4, too complex for me; but the Republic of West Alaska route in TNO:LDoE is the most BASED thing I've ever found:
  6. Two new ideas I've got... #1: AGXR :Anti-Gravity Extreme Rally. Strap in to a jet-propelled anti-gravity hoversled and push your velocity beyond the speed of sound. If that's not crazy enough, you're racing at ground level, on courses that run on both land and water. Even more, the game's courses use sections of constructed track to guide you from one spectacular piece of scenery to the next. It's like F-Zero meets Jet Moto, and it's set to a blazing speed metal soundtrack that will make you feel like you're heart's been given BOOST POWER! #2: Contract Squadron: Blazing Strike. A vertically-scrolling shoot-em-up inspired by the 1990s classic Tyrian, but featuring real(or as close as we can get to real) jet fighters and ground attack planes. Fit them out with arrays of different weapons, including gun pods, rocket pods, missiles, bombs, you name it. Unleash blazing destruction around the world as you fight against various enemy forces simply in the name of making money. Upgrade your plane, upgrade your weapons, amass a stockpile to shame the US Air Force. And tear it up to the sounds of heavy metal, because you're all about the shred and burn.
  7. Do you have a list of compatible and/or incompatible gameplay mods for this, please? Or is this just something we're going to have to experiment with?
  8. Doesn't need to be truly smooth in appearance, the most important aspect is ensuring that the player can move smoothly.
  9. I tend to play Ultra-Violence, but that's just because I want the "complete" experience. At the same time, I tend to play with lots of gameplay mods, especially ones that raise the player character's power level, so it's not exactly the same as vanilla UV.
  10. This is pretty much the most amazing thing I've ever heard: One of the most heroic-sounding pieces I can recall from all of the various video games I've played, with the addition of heavy metal guitars layered in. I desperately need someone to make a DooM map with a .OGG of this for the level music.
  11. I wonder how possible it is to make smoothly undulating hills that the player can smoothly run across. The idea would be to encourage the player to stay moving at the highest speed they can maintain, while simultaneously giving them physical cover against hitscanners that are posted in the distance. Include projectile-based enemies and Pinkies in the valleys between the hills to force the player to stay on their toes and constantly watch for enemies on their flanks.
  12. Call of Doom: Black Warfare comes to mind immediately: https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-doom-cod-style-advanced-weapons-mod It even has an expansion with even more guns: https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-doom-cod-style-advanced-weapons-mod/downloads/codbw-extra-weapons
  13. There's a ton of fertile ground here. Personally, I'd love to see what could be done based on Mass Effect.
